  1. Past hour
  2. Yep check and check. However I will will say that the tach would only do that cycling issue when the bike was going down the road. Not at idle. Tomorrow I'll take the bike out and make sure the tach is better.
  3. Tach totally stable? Rev it up a bit and the voltage comes up?
  4. Today
  5. @docc and everyone else that helped out on this , just wanted to say thanks! My new correct relays came in today and after swapping them out I'm seeing 13.3-13.4v at about 2500 rpm. I won't have a chance to take it for a test ride until tomorrow but can I operate under the assumption for now that with it putting out over 13v while running that the system is charging as it should? I have put 5 extra relays in the tool bag just to be safe.
  6. Yesterday
  7. I appreciate both your input, parts ordered. I wonder if I can find a 22mm to 6mm union, that I could screw directly into the tank. Tank to reducer to hose to quick-connect to hose to elbow adapter to hose to pump.
  8. Yes, posted here before. What is new is how much has been added to @OzMatt's website. The man has put forth a fabulous effort to archive rare history and images. With plans for further additions, stay tuned! https://mgprotos.com/matt-compton
  9. Looks as though the various parts aren't expensive. You might have to be the guy that takes a shot at figuring out a different route. Worse that could happen is you're out a few bucks and a few hours, and then come back and tell Phil he was correct. Honestly. I'd be tempted if my stock petcock didn't work so well.
  10. I've already seen that. Was it posted here, or on the german forum? I can't remember. It is certainly interesting.
  11. If I were to do that, I would use Guzzidiag. It has a function to activate the injectors manually. This allows one to see if they are working, how much they are injecting (catch it in a glass and measure the volume), and what the spray pattern looks like (put a piece of paper in front of the injector whilst it is being activated). During the process, as the ignition is on all the while, it should also be possible to see if they are leaking, I reckon.
  12. Apparently about €15,000 in Germany for the spiffier model https://www.kawasaki.de/de/products/Modern_Classic/2024/Z900RS_SE/overview?Uid=0886X1BbWV9bUQlcWA5YXFtZDQpdWlxYDlsKDAkJXA5cDl4 And then there is this for a couple of bucks more... https://www.kawasaki.de/de/products/Supersport/2024/Ninja_H2R/overview?Uid=0917WwpeDFwJDVFeWVAMXFgLXApRDFxcClhZXwxdWA0LCwo
  13. Seem to recall the same issue on the Cagiva Gran Canyon (ducati 904, with external fuel pump), and we all used what we called the "sharkbite", which was the brand name of the 90 deg copper reducer synonymous with what LaGrasta shows above. I think Ducati used a custom hose, and we changed to the reducer fitting, and in doing so actually gained additional leeway in how the hoses routed (they were down low, bottom front of engine). Seems it might yield the same benefit here, where the issue Phil is wisely pointing out might be alleviated with use of a 90 deg fitting coming from the petcock. maybe not.... would have to look closer at the limited real estate available, but i'd think the small hose leaving the petcock could point inward toward centerline of engine, then the 90 would turn the flow straight forward, and attach to a nearly straight run of the larger diameter hose to the pump.
  14. Seriously considering this adapter. Being 90° should help with the space issue. I then can attach any 22mm (correct?) female fuel tap. Or even a fuel disconnect. I did consider replacing the O-rings as suggested, but the machining is a deal breaker. Thoughts?
  15. The company manufacturing them promised they would be ready on April 29th. As soon as I have an update, I will communicate it.
  16. Hey Pascal...are we going to have these do you think before mid June perhaps? Need a few hours to sew it on before departing for John Day on June 22nd! I've mapped out that I can get another 8-10 stops along the way of the Grand Tour heading towards Lubbock on the first day of exiting Texas in June on the way to New Mexico before getting to the high country and the mountains. Would be great to have the V11 patch next to the other Guzzi patches and Grand Tour patch also on the jacket.
  17. I put two instead of 1+, since I set a counter that can only count numbers and not alphanumerical characters....
  18. Do not try to sign-in! If you can't get to input into the spreadsheet, close your V11 page and restart the site. If you have read or answered threads before getting to the input of the spreadsheet, it may have messed up the permissions
  19. Good info but modifying the std tap with Viton orings seems a more elegant solution. There's enough pipes and connections under the tank as it is for mine. I really dont want any more. Phil
  20. amen. Or the sign on the way down (southwest), the yellow caution sign that shows the squiggly curve symbol and says "next 78 miles", or some such thing. delish.
  21. Last week
  22. Another couple of months to see this sign again! Some of the best roads in the country up in this area! Now I recall we spent the night in Lowell at the Wilderness Motel & Cafe. Fond memories of a delicious Huckleberry milkshake there that night! The scenery is amazing...fresh air, curvy roads, forests everywhere. Just paradise!
  23. Here's a pic I took back in 2016 of the Spineys...wasn't but a few months later I found my Scura to add to the collection. Lovely bunch of V11's and other Sport i's that were there back in 2016! The Norges were lurking in the background!

Not only can we get these reducers in straight or angled, we can also get the petcocks with different direction outlets. What's more, none of this cost very much. Considering what gas cost and how much I lose every time I remove the tank.
  25. Not sure when @Dave Swanson added x2, but I count 41 at that point . . .
  26. When the curve ahead turns into a hairpin and the road turns back against itself, then you know your having a good time !!!
