  1. Well its taken many years but here is my first Guzzi, a 2001 V11 Rosso Mandello, its been stored for a few years and I will bring it back to life very soon. Its low miles, 7K and has many spare parts and accesories, incliding a color matched original Magni cafe fairing

  4. Hello all, can anyone recommend a shop in the Los Angeles area, specifically West L.A./Santa Monica/Malibu areas? FWIW Im a longtime member here but since Ive been without a MG for several years Ive recently been inactive, but still lurking about! Now Ive the opportunity to pick up a 04 Cafe Sport, but Im reluctant since Im unfamiliar with the service network here in Los Angeles. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated! TIA, Joe

  5. Bought a V11 Cafe sport 2004, 66K. Ohlins and lots of carbon bits. Really nice bike, can't wait to take for a run.

  6. I got a price quote in today for another batch of springs - from the same company I used before. But I wasn't totally happy with them (as detailed somewhere back in this enormous thread). So I'm also going to check with a local manufacturer. We'll get a batch on order soon and be back in business. ^^and to Footgoose's picture request, I posted a few in the Adventure Bikes thread. FYI - Chuck's engineering diagram is posted in this thread so that the design specs are available for anyone who is motivated enough to have a batch produced. Neither Chuck nor I are trying to claim ownership or exclusive rights to this.

  11. I agree with Rox Lemans, might be worth taking the pieces into a decent paint shop to see if they can salvage the original paint and refinish with some type of clear coat, if it worked, best and cheapest solution?. I have heard of decent paint suppliers making up custom, quality spray bombs, but I don't think anything like that is going to come cheap either, and from experience, painting is a learned art. I not only hoard motorcycles but info as well, lol. I snagged this enclosed document that Mike from MPH had posted somewhere with valid paint codes for some of the modern guzzis, I don't see any V11s on the list, but I did notice a few greys that MG has used in the past, might be worthwhile comparing against yours for a possible match with greys on other models. Ps, due size limitations I can't post the doc, if you want it, pm me an email add, and I can get it to you. While searching for Mike's original post I found a few posts that may help you out, I copied the link over for one that seems to have a lot of links and info, fwiw. Good luck Kelly
