  1. At noblewood's request, I have attempted to merge some tensioner and cam trust bearing content here. Not thrilled with the way that went. All the content moved, but went into one post. I'll get better at this, I promise.

  3. Alright, so, I did move all of the tensioner and cam thrust bearing content to "How to . . .", but am not very happy with how it grouped into one post. I'll get better at practicing this new system of moving ("splitting") posts. I appreciate nobelswood's suggestion that the valuable technical content be sequestered and footgoose's concern that our invaluable technical resources remain searchable.

  4. Wow, would really like to attend, but too many miles in between, alas. Am particularly smitten by the pic of the only bike prettier than a MG V11 or Norton Commando (edit note: venue is up tight about hot linking images, guess they don't like the free advertising, so similar images substituted below): Never scored one of those, but did finally snag a V11. Also got one of these consolation prizes: Congrats to all those who will attend this event. Good beer and classic bikes, what's not to like?

  5. I'm planning to go this time and thanks for the heads up. If you like traditional German food, bier, and live music, I recommend https://www.hofbrauhausnewport.com/ Easy access across the river in Newport, near the Aquarium and Newport on the Levee mall. Cross over Taylor Southgate bridge off Broadway. Saw my first Zydeco band there.

  6. Last year was the first time I made it there. Expect it to be busy with a line. Recommendations 🤔 Cadre Cycle is a great place to visit, & come to think of it, probably a good place to ask about Breweries 👍

  7. Dorcia thought she's take me to this for Valentine's day. Maybe hit another brewery, go out to eat, stay overnight. She's such a good girl.. Any recommendations, Tim?

  8. Pete Roper would. Ciao

  9. Probably easier than the high cam engine into the V11. Wouldn't look as good though. How about a grisso 8 valver in a Centauro. That might work although the alternator might be an issue. Ciao

  10. Nice! I scrolled through the gallery for a Guzzi, but found this. Which still speaks to my, er, "Rhine geist!"

  12. This is a teensie bit disappointing...must say. Two months from now I'll be wondering "where did I see this info?", as I often do. The search feature is nice if you're clever to use the right word, but often won't, as you all know, turn up the (findable) post you may need. Thank you Docc, for your diligence in past efforts on topic organization. It's been so helpful. I assume you can still move/combine a new topic?
