  1. I've wanted high pipes for my Scura since I bought it. Thanks to the guys at Guzzitech they made it happen.

  2. I remember reading some journalist's opinion about the early V11 Sport, "Will require some owner involvement." That was not wrong . . .

  3. Productive day today, got the tank mount finished. Titanium bolts and bushes except for the top ones on the rubber mounts which I made from Ally. I used 18mm hex so I can hold it with a wrench when tightening up the mount bolts. I couldn't buy any hex Ti bar. The four lock nuts are just that lock nuts only. I tapped the vertical plates for the 4 6mm bolts. The whole thing is a bit as they say "component dense" but there you go. Battery holder fitted with ti bolts. Such a great material. Elastic, tough, light and weather resistant. Swing arm fitted. I removed the horrid huger nuts and used rubber blanks instead. Fully adjustable Wilbers shock. Better quality than an OEM Ohlins and cheaper as well. Swing arm other side. Ciao

  4. I am selling my most precious V11 SCURA. It is in PRISTINE condition with only 16,505 miles on the odometer. It's has brand a new Leo Vince Carbon Fiber Exhaust, brand new BREMBO rotors, tuned and fueled at GuzziTech. It is #379 of only 600 made. Also has Red Powder Coated rims, CRG Bar end mirrors and adjustable levers, plus extra after market carbon parts. The motor has had some upgrades as well with the addition of Carrillo [edit: titanium] rods. Comes with what you see here +all original parts and an extra stock seat. $6700 OBO/Solid offer. All low-ball offers will be ignored.

  5. Did you check Brad's Centauro w/8k miles on MGNOC classifieds. Last I saw it was very nice looking bike asking $3500

  6. I think that's kind of a myth when it comes to Scuras. I was told somewhere down the road mine had titanium rods or something. It didn't. Nonetheless that's a beautiful Scura and if I had the garage space I'd be trying to buy it. Best of all the miles are pretty low and by the looks not abused whatsoever. A little bit of surface stuff but it's understandable since it's 18 years old and in NorCal. I'd be all over this if I had the space.

  7. I have to agree with Pete after riding one. Way too much pogo stick in the corners; the more you lean it, the more it sinks. I suppose it makes good power for what it is. I want more power. I am not really into the dual sport thing either. It seems that they've gone around us with 1400 cruisers and small blocks of different styles. The porridge is too hot and too cold but nothing just right.

  9. Great looking bike. I'd prefer the stock color for the wheels but love that exhaust. Never seen that exhaust on a V11 before. My garage is full otherwise I'd be very tempted.

  11. Lovely bike, Carrillo dont make Titanium rods though. Steel or Aluminium only as far as I was aware so I checked their website to see if they had diversified. No mention of Titanium rods though. Ciao
