A closer pic of my relays. Replaced the 20+ year old original equipment ones with CIT brand based on a discussion "Best Relay" on the forum. However the 6th H/C starter relay for the starter is a Picker PC782-1C-12S-R-X, NO:30a/14vdc, NC:25a/14vdc, SAE1171, UL1500, ISO8846 and was supplied by Greg Bender with the relay base & wiring....fwiw.

Sump from the rear drive of my '72 Eldo. The thick black stuff in the sump is liquid moly that seems to be heavier than the 80w-90 gear oil and settles to the lowest point in the rear drive when static. I can't say that it is the whole 20cc's worth of LM that I put in during the last gear oil change because I have already poured some off when I removed the sump just now but it still has a substantial amount.

I added the HC Starter Relay Harness to eliminate passing high inrush current to starter solenoid through the ignition switch based on some comments I read in the forum. My own current draw tests appeared to be very low/minimal. However, should the starter solenoid become marginal, the higher draw of the solenoid could damage the ignition switch...imho. I bought the HC Starter relay, base, fuse and harness from Greg Bender at This Old Tractor. It is s nice easy install..the relay base slides onto the existing starter relay base, Red to Batt+, Black to Batt-, spade connctors are routed to starter - Female spade to starter, Male spade to exiting starter solenoid feed wire. https://www.thisoldtractor.com/for_sale_wiring_harness_ordering.html

This is a replica of the experimental Maico RS 250 Hans Hinn/Günther Schier/Walter Nieser and Rolf Minhoff created 1973/74. The replica was made and raced in Italy by Enzo Moretti who solved some of the reliability problems by downsizing the engine tuning a bit.

My Nomar. I was never able to manage the technique of using the Nomar tire bar so I went with the Mojolever (it can barely be seen lying on the edge lift table, white tip hanging off the end of the table).

bike won the 1975 amateur race and finished 2th in the amateur championship at the end of this season. Rider could not find sponsors to become pro racer and stopped his career. 3rd placed racer Walter Koschine went on to become pro racer and won the german pro championship in 1976 with his legendary Seel-Maico RS125 and was the last ever german champion on a Maico street racer.
