  2. @sp838. I like those intakes! Also running K&N pods, but initially left the air temp sensor out in the breeze. Which was fine when there was a breeze... At lights, or round town, the fuelling was pants, so I mounted the sensor on the short bit of rubber tube downstream of the paper part of the filter. I had to splice in an extension to the cable. Now it's all good again. Pics if anyone's interested.
  3. I also installed the Titanium map. It was my first go at GuzziDiag writing, and it was a simple process. Interestingly the upload only took 3 minutes against 15 minutes for the reading process. Hmm. Anyway, my "DynoArse" reckons it's fuller in the midrange. Still wondering if it's worth having a look at the ignition advance, but that might wait till the autumn, and I'll get her on the dyno for some proper comparison. Happy for now, though! As an aside, for anyone using pod filters, have you re-sited the air temp pickup? I've mounted mine between the filter and the right throttle body.
  4. Hi, everyone. I'm new here. I just thought I'd share my experience so far. I downloaded tuner pro. Then I downloaded Guzzidiag, and the 15m reader, and the XDF from their homepage. I bought the leads. The ones that worked for me are by LONELEC. Just search ebay for Guzzidiag cable. You need to install the drivers from their website. I'm using Windows 8, and it started straight up. So then I connected everything up and, following the instructions on the screen, read my *bin file from the ECU. Just like that! and I'm useless with computers. So the Program is very user friendly. Thanks to the developers! I open up Tuner Pro. Import the XDF, import the *bin, and now I can view all the ECU maps. (2001 Rosso Mandello with 15M ECU. No Lambda). Now the question: What now? I've had a fiddle with filling the hole in the ignition advance, and it all seems logical. But I don't really know what I'm doing. I could work with a specialist and rack up loads of dyno time, but that might defeat the object of doing any of it myself. So are there any baseline settings that people could reccommend? I understand the reluctance to have a *bin library to stop rogue commercial use, My bike actually runs really nice, but it has pod filters, and after market exhaust, and they run leaner/ more retarded than ideal to get through emissions testing. Dont they? So does anyone have a suitibly modded *bin for this setup? I can PM my standard *bin, if that's any use to anyone.
