I like the bike in some ways..but imho...That fairing and headlight look cheap and doesn't flow with the rest of the bike.

I was 21 that year and I used to cruise that very blvd ( Van nuys Blvd) on hot summer nights in my Red 1962 Corvette convertible ...you would see some Awesome cars.

Federal officials investigating two recent crashes involving Teslas that killed motorcyclists Andy Greaser Jul 28, 2022 200 Comments Two motorcycle fatalities this month, including one this past weekend in Utah when a Tesla rear-ended a rider, are among the cases of crashes by cars using advanced driver assistance that are under investigation by federal officials. In the most recent fatality, a Tesla driver rear-ended and fatally injured a 34-year-old motorcyclist shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, according to a report from the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS). The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene. The Tesla driver told police that the 2020 Model 3’s Autopilot feature was engaged at the time of impact. The collision happened in the southbound high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane of I-15 near the city of Draper. The motorcyclist’s Harley-Davidson was in front of the Tesla and apparently the vehicle’s sensors did not detect the motorcycle ahead. The police report said the driver “did not see” the motorcycle and hit it from behind. The driver of the Tesla was not injured. No charges have been filed yet and the incident is still under investigation. By federal law, solo motorcycle riders are allowed to use HOV lanes unless states seek an exception due to safety reasons. Common Tread contacted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) about the incident, and a media representative provided a list of all open Special Crash Investigations involving advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). I wouldn't bet money on him winning another,some of these young 22-year old guys can have horrendous crashes and still run all the way back to the pit's jump on the other bike and ride like nothing happened..and they are fearless because they havnt had any major injuries yet ..It gets alot harder when you are past 30 yrs old like he will be , especially when you have had your humerus cut out and flipped around upside down and bone grafted back in and had a half dozen concussions to the point they tell you you may go blind if you have another big one...Not to mention 2-3 major shoulder surgeries, all since he was last champion. The bikes are faster and faster and these young dudes are used to all the new technical innovations..they grew up with. I agree, I think he has matured in the past year or so but...."Time waits for no one". My Opinion
