  1. I rented from Cycle Visions Rental once. Limited selection of bikes and no Guzzi. But good customer service and the bikes were in great shape. I would go back again.
  2. @p6x I haven't tried the PR6 yet, but I prefer the PR4 over the PR5. I've had PR4's on my Scura since I got it. My long distance bike, BMW K1600BGA, burns through 2 rear tires / yr. So, my data is based on 3 PR4's and 2 PR5 rear tires. The PR4 just feels more hooked up.
  3. Unfortunately, here in Arizona, the once local dealerships are being taken over by the Ride Now group or local business guy and Go Daddy CEO Go AZ dealerships. Gets suckier every day.
  4. Just FYI. Wheels don't have to track. BMW Airheads have a built in wheel offset to counterbalance the offset weight of the transmission. Same for many Harleys. I just darksided my BMW K1600 so not only is the tire square but it is also offset from the centerline of the bike by about 3/4". Doesn't bother anything.

    Lemans Decals

Availability is spotty. I'm still trying to get a Scura tail decal. Harpers had one, but I've never found a second one.
  6. Just an idea - The fans that cool PC cases are 12V DC and come in various sizes. Who needs a thermostatic switch, either hard wire it or put a simple handlebar switch.
  7. 1/2 right. Tunnel is Queen Creek Tunnel on US60 between Globe and Superior AZ. A very scenic and twisty ride !!
  8. Scary ride ? Only because it was Halloween. Well except for maybe the 100's of flying insects that committed suicide on the front of the bike or my helmet. A riding day like this is why people live in Arizona. Pictures taken while rolling by my steering stem mounted cell phone on my Scura. The bridge structure is the longest two-lane, single-span, steel-arch bridge in North America. The other picture is inside of a tunnel. Bonus points for identifying the 2 locations on my loop ride outside of the Mesa, AZ area.
  9. Klaus at EPM rebuilt and lowered my F800GS forks. Good service !
  10. My friend got both knees replaced last year. He could barely walk then. He is fully functional now. Rides bicycles and motos, walks/runs with no issues. Worked great for him.
  11. 4 gas tanks ? Also, that front facing headpipe ain't gonna last long.
  12. The picture is definitely an "artist rendering". I noted the hand shift lever, the shape of the underframe tank and the girder fork. R32 has the hand shift, tank style and a springer fork vs. girder. The engine is drawing is Guzzi.
  13. The title of this thread is V100 Sport Tourer, but I don't see any attach points for saddlebags. These pictures are already making me wonder what a Guareschi kit for this chassis might look like.
  14. Isn't it "bologna slicer" ?
  15. For fine gauge wire, just solder them together with some heat shrink tubing over the joint. Any kind of crimp or connector will run too much risk of vibration breaking the wires. When I do this, I queue 2 sections of heat shrink one each to the right and left of the joint. Twist the wires together and solder. Move one of the H shrink tubes over the joint an shrink it. Then move the other over and shrink that. 2 layers of H shrink will really protect the solder joint from vibration.
  16. I hope they don't cancel MotoGP again. I would think they would need to announce that by this weekend at the latest.
  17. Took 9 weeks, but Harpers came through with shiny new hoses. Good to go !
  18. Looks like travel restrictions for US citizens will be coming to EU. Boo.
  19. I set up a lawn chair on the grass on Turn 18 (under the tower). I can see T1-T7 and T17-T19 from there.
