So for my birthday I got the grips. It's like she reads my mind! I'm thinking the controller will go right here. Unlike the old ones you want to be able to clearly see it if you want to view the voltage. These grips seem to put up more of a fight than other bikes. Let's see how they respond to some compressed air. Then it's just a matter of wiring it up. Positive to a keyed source and ground for the other wire. Run wires and zip tie. More later. Has no one designed a flywheel that will work with the single plate clutch?

I don't think it's the fueling you're feeling at 5k, it's probably the cam. Once mine gets to 5k it's time to hold on!

What is wrong with the clutch? Just a worn disk or major damage?

I did this on my Triumph too. And the 850-T. Red instrument lights. I like the red at night as it's less distracting yes still very visible. Before. Testing the fit. When I replaced the lights on my 850-T the LEDs were too big. These fit perfectly. When I turned on the ignition... nothing. I tried several bulbs. Cheap eBay crap. Oh, wait, maybe these ground through the bulb holder... Success! Before AND after. After. If anyone wants to try these let me know. PM me your address and I'll send you a pair. There were what looking like water marks or something on the screen. Along with some very light scratching. I hit it with some plastic polish and it looks almost new! So much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The plastic cruise controls will break. When they do you'll get the aluminum ones.

I assume it's reading it at the ECU which I don't think it directly connected to the battery.

As mentioned I got it from one of the forum members. It's got a scratch on the left side and the screen needs a good polishing but I'm happy!

Plus the seat doesn't line up with the tank.

First ride with fairing. It seemed noisier. It might be because I'm going faster with the fairing. There is definitely a huge reduction of wind on my chest. Went to the dealer today and got a new lens. $2. Parts guy couldn't believe the price either. That took care of the busted front lens. A zip tie took care of the rear turn signal although I really need new ones front and rear but at least it's rideable. So far I'm out $2. I also picked up a new shirt. Need to bulk up on my Guzzi shirts. The closet is mostly Norton and Triumph. And then lunch with the wee lad. [emoji41] And then a ride to celebrate. Phew. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never tried it, but I'll bet you could rig up some sort of hillbilly thing with air pressure and a gauge to see where it blows off? There's gotta be *some* reason for 2 pumps going tits up. I did this to set the pressure on the aero engine pressure relief valve.. Thanks Chuck - It occurred to me to try the Champagne tank on the Greenie, since I also wanted to see if the manual petcock (Greenie has electric) cures the Greenie's fuel starvation issue. I'm playing Dr. Frankenstien today... I can't wait to get my bodywork off and give it a good clean. Going to wait until I have all the paperwork in order.

On some cars there's a Schrader valve in the fuel rail and you can check the fuel pressure there. Not sure on these bikes. Yet.

You don't seem boring, therefore, you must be lucky. Happy almost 50th. Time for the 50-year-old-man preventative maintenance checks... Woah now! 50 isn't until next year!
