  1. Can't help myself, do I spot something what we call an electro thief ? Don't like greeniesh copper wires Cheers Tom.
  2. I never think about any of the modern aids when riding my bikes, new and old. It realy pissed me of the first time experiencing TC, WHAT. But with prosthesis AND, some times on the long stretches, CC gives my shoulders a break. Cheers Tom.
  3. Zero failures. IPA time here. Cheers Tom.
  4. No, but fairly simple to do. I put it under the battery tray, check clearance. Idling 14.73 on my greenie, and not even a red one. . I did install extra terminals + and - , only 1 cable on the battery. Some pictures on the forum somewhere. Others here have installed it to, all seems happy. Cheers Tom.
  5. Seems you enjoy mileage, so just install a good regulator that connects direct to the battery. Your electric system on your bike will thank you. I have installed 4 Shindengen 847 from Roadstercycle, GLAD I did. Cheers Tom.
  6. And mine showed up yesterday, 18days. Liked the 12$ value . Cheers Tom.
  7. And help the soldering points in the switch by making a little loop on the cable and secure it to the switch, easy strap or tape. Every time you turn the handle bars is stress on the wires/ soldering. Cheers Tom.
  8. Like you said, ride it more. I thought about it on my 1000S, but l liked the way she was settling her rear. Cheers Tom
  9. Bass ale down south Devon on the little rock in the sea, hmmm Good. Cheers Tom.
  10. Had the pleasure of visiting Meinolf with a couple of ECU’s, since aim not a computer guy. BIG respect, so just listen to the gentleman. Not easy to get it correct first time, you will D feel the difference after a few try’s. So take your time doing it. Cheers Tom
  11. Just me saying, you will need new rubber anyway, do it before the trip home. Stranded at the road, usually more expensive and you don’t have to tell yourself what an #kr&%- l was. Have a friend who bought one VERY cheap 3years ago. Why, last owner gave it up. Wasn’t rideable in the 3k range. Last owner left it at a dealer who put a PC on it, paid a lot money, still NOT good. My friend knows computers, still did a lot of tuning with the ECU. Now she is running good. Bike has more than 90k km, no problem. Hopefully a nice trip home. Cheers Tom.
  12. Comments here better left alone. But absolutely agree, each rider set their best time, period . Cheers Tom.
  13. Vision the flywheel, and hearing all the mechanical sounds of a slicer, will see. Cheers Tom.
