  2. Roger That Pete.. I did my research and quickly came to the fact this is not a job I should tackle.. Iโ€™ve been able to work on smaller issues..trace and fix an oil leak.. diagnosed and replaced the stador and regulator on my own.. but this is a job for a professional!! I thank you for your input.. this forum really helps people!! Stay safe!!๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ€
  3. Thanks Pete.. You seem pretty sure... On the difficulty scale.. how bad is it to replace the clutch?? Iโ€™m a marginal mechanic.. but I live on an island and Iโ€™d have to ship/transport it off to get it to a shop! Any tips/recommendations??๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป
  4. I had just returned from a small vacation, I want to roll my v11 Le Mans out of my garage. I was holding the clutch in, it was in gear I only rolled a few feet and stopped. I clicked it in neutral and it rolled back just fine. After starting the bike in neutral and letting it warm up, I put the bike in gear and it stalled. Put the bike back in neutral, and it started up again. This time after putting it in gear, it struggled to start going. Once the bike was moving it seem to be OK. Well riding it, I could feel a strange feeling in the clutch handle. The bike was not running very smooth at first, but seem to work itself out as I rode it around the block a few times. I got up this morning and wanted to check a few things. I got on the bike, without starting it, and holding the clutch in. I was rolling it back-and-forth there was a new clicking noise coming from below. Iโ€™m not sure if this is coming from the clutch, or the gearbox. Does anybody have any leads to where I might start looking at this problem. Iโ€™m not sure I wanna write it very much, even though it did ride fine once it warmed up. I donโ€™t want to do any damage to my engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  8. Good Morning All... So Iโ€™ve replaced battery and relays... This morning I had time to uncover my Stator cover to check connections.. I was careful doing so... and I found a broken connection. I certainly donโ€™t think I caused this while removing the cap!!
  9. Relays ordered... harder to find than I thought!! Going to follow up on others advice as far as the ground and stador wires soon.. want to be able to focus on what Iโ€™m doing.. the island of Marthaโ€™s Vineyard is a little crazy this time of year!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  11. Good evening my friends!! All is well on MV. Test of the old battery and replacement of a brand new one is the solution!! NOT!!๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿคฌ๐Ÿ˜ข The Odyssey battery came fully charged at 12.78 on the multimeter. Ready to go out of the box!! I installed it and was feeling pretty good about things! Fired right up... sounded powerful.. went for a test ride! Then.... I tested it after the ride and it went from a 12.78reading to a 12.46 reading. After only a 15 min ride or so. Losing charge somewhere still! So... where do I go from here... Lose connection, Stador coil, ???? Fuses are fine... nothing smoked...๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ Any other diagnostic things I can do?? I appreciate the help from you guys.. Stay safe and talk soon!!๐Ÿค™๐Ÿป

  22. Iโ€™m looking for any leads into this problem please!! Woke this morning to a dead battery. Bike has been running in top performance. Battery is new last year. I jumped it.. fired right up... Rode it for 10 minutes or so and noticed my rpm tack was not registering. The motor sputtered and quit about 2 min later. Bike world not turn over... jumped again and idled perfectly.. as soon as I put it in gear it sputtered and quit again. I have it back home and looking to trouble shoot this!! Brand new battery from last year... I ran the bike just two days ago and it was just fine... Any help is much appreciated! Tim B on Marthaโ€™s Vineyard jrbeg@hotmail.com
