  2. 2003 LeMans Rosso Corsa for sale, 6900 miles, custom Rich Maund 2-person seat (have stock seat and tail cover), MG Ti-exhaust, lots of MG carbon fiber bits, PC-III, risers, volt meter, lots of other bits and pieces that I can't remember right now. Bike is almost like new, have luggage rack and soft luggage that was never installed somewhere. Financial situation forces sale, bike is located in far western Chicago, IL burbs, I am the 2nd owner. $6750. If interested e-mail me at LanceKTM950 at G mail dot com for more info and photos. Thanks! Lance
  3. No photo to add but I have an '03 Rosso Corsa bought from the original purchaser who lived in Portland, OR, it now resides in St. Charles, IL. Unfortunately, the dealer, who "knows better", removed the PCIII and it how runs like crap and I can't afford to replace it and I don't trust the dealer to re-tune via the Guzzi tuning tool. Any suggestions? This is, by far, the most uncomfortable bike I have in my stable, but the only one that I'm really passionate about. Get on her and ride, WHAHOO! I'm in love~! Lance
  4. My mechanic and I are discussing the proper mounting for the Two Brothers risers I have for my '03 V11 Lemans....they're currently mounted above the triple clamps, I say they should go below, he says they'll hit the tank and/or fairing... Any comments? TIA, Lance

    MG video

Some years ago someone was kind enough to let me copy their CD copy of a Moto Guzzi documentary...I loaned it to someone with the warning that I definitely wanted it back...however, the moron lost it. I've forgotten the title and I've been busy riding with the new woman in my life and haven't been on here to find out who the gent was with the original CD/DVD, but if anyone knows what it was and can get me another copy, I'd sure be grateful. Thanks! Lance
  6. Hello Philippe! I enjoyed your movies very much! One question tho...who makes the rack on the rear of your LeMans? I need one to hold a Givi case... Thanks! Lance R.
  7. Any recommendations on the best heated grips for an '03 V11 LeMans? Thanks, Lance R. '99 turbo Triumph Tiger '01 Honda Gold Wingebago '03 Triumph Sprint ST '03 Moto Guzzi V11 LeMans
  8. How many V11 LeMans Rosso Corsa's were built, and how many got shipped to the U.S.? Do you 'spose there are some still in crates at MG HQ and at dealers?? Lance R. '03 V11 LeMans Rosso Corsa

    Dog Love

Our sincere and most heartfelt condolances Dave... A year and a half agoI lost my Hobie cat that had been my best friend for almost 18 years...I've got a webpage devoted to him that has some things on it that might ease your pain, I'll have to see if I can send you a link to it...gives you some things to think about. Lance 'n' Jan
  10. Jeeze guys, the choice for me is to either ride the LeMans to and from work and have a way to carry my very large laptop with me, or take the Sprint ST with it's hard bags. I do have the MG tankbag and I will try to fit the laptop in it, but a waterproof tail trunk would be the best option for me. Personally, I hate the look of ANYTHING in the way of luggage on the LeMans, but I'm also not leaving Jan (my girlfriend) at home or to ride her scooter just 'cause I don't like the look of a dual seat on the LeMans. If she wants to ride with me on the LeMans, she's darn well going to ride with me and enjoy the Guzzi experience too. And when we ride we ride 200-600 miles per day. Sometimes we end up at home at the end of the day, sometimes we don't. Carrying a decent amount of clothing in luggage allows us to ride regardless of the weather, and gives up the option of going where we want to go. I love the looks of the LeMans, and Jan does too. But the Guzzi experience (and motorcycling in general) is about riding the bike, and anything we can do to enhance that experience, such as carrying luggage and what's in it, is something that I am going to do. Once we're on the bike, it's all about riding it, not about how it looks. Too bad someone doesn't make a tail trunk that emulates the lines of the LeMans... Thanks for the ideas everyone! Lance R. 11. Has anyone fitted a Givi topbox to their LeMans? I need to carry my laptop with me... Thanks, Lance R. '99 turbo Tiger (for sale) '01 Gold Wingebago (also for sale) '03 Sprint ST (never for sale) '03 V11 LeMans Rosso Corsa (mine, finally!)
