  1. Totally agree. Not anywhere on eBay that I can see. If I had a Honda, BMW, no problem. But I can't locate any Guzzi valve stem caps... I'd buy a set if I could find one...
  2. Has anyone been able to source a set of tire valve stem caps with "MOTO GUZZI", or the Guzzi eagle on them? I'm not huge into customization, but I think they would be a nice little finishing touch on my V11 Sport...
  3. Well, I didn't do much today other than sigh that it's going to be snowing tomorrow...and daydreaming about riding my V11 Sport in the Spring...I envy my friends in Australia and the Mediterranean...Le Sigh.
  4. Guzzi's US distribution has always been spotty... I'd guess, running V11s in the USA at under 2k machines. I'm probably being optimistic. It's probably way less than that. Wonder how many V11s were built per year?
  5. Only 254 V11s left in the UK? That is heartbreaking...
  6. A champagne Lemans...now that is a gorgeous machine. Photos of the new baby, please?
  7. Damn...I know NZ is a gorgeous country, but the bikes are stupid money. In the States, bikes are, comparitively cheap as chips. I paid $6500 for my V11 Sport w/under 13k miles...and that was with $650 shipped to me. Again, whatever you like, better buy it soon...I get the feeling it's all going to be priced in "classic" territory very soon! Especially older Guzzis!
  8. I can understand a Daytona, MGS01, limited V11...but wow.
  9. I know NZ is a small market, but those prices are insanity. Bikes in general are getting pricier here in the USA. Glad I snagged my clean V11 when I had the chance. They will never be cheaper than they are now...
  10. I know NZ is a totally different market, Nico, but which Guzzis do you see rising in cost for you locally?
  11. Greenie V11 Sport... with the MAGNI fairing...a true unicorn. What a damned elegant machine. Much respect, Tom.
  12. One key? Left in the ignition? While you are away from home? You certainly love to live life dangerously, don't you, Mr. Powers? I have two fresh cut keys, and one original for my V11 Sport. I keep three keys for each vehicle...each in a different location...just in case! Soooo grateful I didn't have to get a new ignition cylinder, and all those other hassles! Thank my lucky stars!
  13. No key code tag was provided, unfortunately. I'm over the moon happy to have my keys!!!
  14. UPDATE: VTwinStorm is indeed a dumbass and left his precious V11 Sport keys (all three of them) in his car (tiny sliding tray in the dash that I put them in). Docc, please file this under "D'oh!!!" I have now separated the rings, erm, keys, one to ride the V11, one to dream the V11, one to rule all the V11 Sports...The one true key is three! One in the safe, one in my key wallet, and the last one in my OTHER safe!!! I'll never make this potentially devastating mistake ever again. KINDOY2, thank you for being there for me, if the devastating loss of all three (I'm such an idiot!) of my keys were lost. I love this forum, I love all of you fine V11 riders, and most of all, I love my V11's keys!!! Thank all of you for being so supporting as I was scrambling to get things sorted. Was a long day at work, but I am happy I didn't have to shell out another $1K-1500, after I just spent $2K USD for a full top-to-bottom servicing with new tires! Whew!!! I feel like drinking now... I say this all the time, but I can't wait to ride my V11 in the Spring!
  15. I'll check and tear apart everything when I get home from work. Anyone have a source for a new ignition lock cylinder, seat lock set? Just in case...
  16. I will try retracing my steps... after work tonight...but I might have lost my keys. Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!
