  1. Joel has a lathe with a plastic "face" in the chuck that holds the lens/bezel while he uses a ball bearing in the tool holder to "roll" the bezel tight. The tailstock holds the speedo or tach against the face.
  2. If this were my tach, I'd give Joel Levine a call. But then, he's only a 45 minute ride from me. <edit> Oh, and my Greenie tach shows ~400 rpm with the engine not running. It seems to be accurate, otherwise.
  3. What are the functional differences between a Ballabio and a V11 Sport? Just the handlebars vs clip-ons?
  4. Not a silly question at all. I'd be interested in a few sets, myself.
  5. I decided to do the updated lens card trick, but #02781101 is apparently NLA from Harper, Stein Dinse, MG Cycles, etc. Does anyone have a good used one lying around they'd be willing to sell?
  6. Has anyone here contacted the seller? I don't do FB and I don't see any other way to contact him.
  7. I need another bike like I need another hole in my head, but I'm intrigued by this one, especially at this price. Are there any particular things to look out for on a 2002 LeMans?
  8. In your post about a V11 Tenni, what do you mean by "in position of"?

Apologies............ spelling error I meant " possession".

      Ciao

  9. I'm having no luck in finding replacements for the long-gone "Off Road Only" tags on my V11 Sport round carbon mufflers.  I have found someone locally who can fabricate some tags so I won't have holes in the mufflers.

Could you email a picture of the tags you had made?

  10. When I started building my tool set, Craftsman was of adequate quality and very good availability. I found over the last 20 years or so that their quality dropped to roughly the level of HF and, since Sears started closing their stores, they are hard to find, too. I started using Snap-On when a friend demonstrated the difference in how the sockets from Snap-On and Craftsman fit a bolt or nut. I probably rounded-off countless nuts & bolts due to the loose fit of my Craftsman sockets.

  12. The title says it all . . . I can't find anything in the US, and shipping from EU is oppressive.
  13. My V11 apparently has the same round Mistral carbon mufflers, but lacking the "off-road only" plates. Do you still have a source for a set of replacement plates I can use to cover the rivet holes in my mufflers?
