  2. Right side connector is the temp sensor located in the stock air box left side connector is fuel level gauge at least on my bike they are Andy
  3. a lot of assumptions here....If it was done at a MG shop, then there should be a record of it.There was paper work to get the replacement parts and paper work to be filed when the job was complete. Perfect world. I hope this is the case. The reality is that over the years I have actually seen these kits on eBay.. there is really no way of knowing even looking at the parts side by side. I have the special tools if needed

  9. Have a info request in at onlinecomponets. Will see what happens
  10. After spending the morning searching and calling .... the hoarders and profiters are the only ones that have the OMRON relay. I did find a fellow in Michigan on eBay that has some....waiting on a response from him. It looks like this relay was used in a lot of Chrysler products ... have not searched that aspect of it yet. What ever the outcome, they will not be cheap compared to previous years. Seems like 10 bucks would get you 5 relays from PyroDan.....these are likely to be 10 bucks Each !!! And no telling what the mark-up will be if a local Jeep/Chrysler actually has some. upward and onward
  11. I don't know of anything practical on these things. I would like to know what you use a 3/8' wrench on ... many thanks
  12. I thought it was an interesting read. Roadster cycles.com. I'm toying with the idea of this unit since I found 4 old stock ones under the workbench. The part about a balanced system was good. As designed, the electrical system is balanced so that it only has to get rid of a couple of amps of unwanted power. When we start changing that we upset the "balance". All the stuff we do to reduce the the amount of energy our bikes consume upsets the balnce. LED headlights, running lights, etc...reduces the amount of power needed but increases the amount of amps that needs to be sent to ground and that in turn creates more heat. Now, I don't know what a good balance would be or even how to achieve it .....
  13. 2002 spines should have a 5.5" rear rim with a 180/55-17 size rear tire Unless a different size tire has been put on
  14. of course ....brave souls can try some of these.....and as the label says .... you should probably cut it a bit
  15. S & S has a TPS part # 55-5058 I DO NOT KNOW if it will WORK. Its in there parts catalog but the picture is a little vague. It appears to me to have 2 fixed holes rather than the elongated holes we need for adjustability. I passed on that one until someone actually lays eyes on it. Ca cycle works has my order...will see how long it takes to get here
  16. The Harley TPS, part #27271-95 is NLA. It has been replaced with something else... I found 1 in this country through he HD parts network. If this doesn't work, Cycle works will be the next call
  17. Bringing this back to the front again.... Was it determined that a HE sensor would or would not work? That seems like a much better alternative. in the mean time, I will be down at the local H-D dealer to see about a TPS.
  18. Pete the recall I remember was for the "moveable sleeve" in the six speeder. on the 2002 Lemans parts diagram picture C-13 #'s 2 & 8. #2 is Part# 04214900.....#8 is Part # 04213900 I believe these are the sleeves that the shift forks fit in and actually shift the gears. I don't think "gears" were involved
