  1. Thank you very much Guys, I see that I will have to spent more than 600 Euros to change the tires...!! Wow!!! This lady is expensive...But I forgive her...She is so elegant..!
  2. Hi all! It's been a while since my last post. Everything is fine and I am enjoying my new pride! The California 1400 touring. I just did the 10.000 kms service and my mechanic told me "I want to let you know that whenever you will have to change tires, I asked and found that only one (here in my city) can find these tires, at about 550 euros or more..." Do you know any online webshop that offers this "unique" tire dimensions? Thank you! Dimitris
  3. I am looking for a pair of Guzzi-Hepco&Becker Side bags with the mounting brackets. Thank you Dimitris
  4. Looking for a set of Hepco Becker hard bags together with the mounting rails. Looking also for inner bags to suit the Hepco Becker hardbags. Thank you Dimitris email dhbugias@yahoo.gr
  5. 30 litres are fine. I looked through the forum and saw that some owners have the H&B 40 litres bags. That would be even better for my needs. I guess I could use the Hepco-Becker lateral bags and the analogous mounts and fit the V11 ruck. Can the Hepco/Becker top box be mounted on the V11 ruck?
  6. That's good news!! So I have to look for a complete hard bag set. Since I don't like the genuine MG soft bags, is there any company that offers lateral hard bags, a top box and the mounting units complete as a set?
  7. Hi and greetings from Thessaloniki, Greece, I have decided to use my V11 Le Mans Rosso Corsa as a sport tourer, meaning I will travel with a pillion for long distances. My V11 is equiped with the Moto Guzzi Racing Exhausts (together with the analogous ECU). The fact is that these mufflers are mounted higher than the standard v11 mufflers, using slightly different brackets. Does anyone know if I can use the standard brackets with the Moto Guzzi Racing mufflers? Cause if it is suitable then the mufflers will be in a lower position and I will be able to fit panniers! Thank you in advance Dimitris
  8. Yes, I think that was the cause. I don't know what happened since then.
  9. I think that if someone prefers sporty way of riding, doing track days from time to time, then the 1100 sport riding position is more "correct" for such a sporty riding style. The knees can be positioned in an inner way (tank is thinner) while the body leans forward. The V11 puts the rider in a more upright position. The tank is wider, not letting the knees/legs to be kept closer and tighter to the bike. So why alter the 1100 sport clipons with handlebars, since you can just enjoy a V11 with handlebars, in a more "relaxing" position?
  10. I sell a pair of MIVV Mufflers for V11 models. Perfect condition. Used for not more than 2000km. Price: 380 Euros Please contact me through email for a shipping cost and pictures. Thank you Dimitris
  11. Dear Pete, I don't intend to "boost" it, or alter the engine, so as to "gain" more power. As you said, there are plenty of other motorbikes for doing that job. As a matter of fact, I just enjoy seeing, riding, hearing this machine. And I want it to be just as it was, when it was leaving the factory doors, back in the '70s.. I will ckeck the steel pistons in the calipers. Thank you! Dimitris
  12. Icy Blue will remain! License plates have already been mounted! They are mandatory! That day I only had the papers with me, 2 days later the plates arrived
  13. Made a video with my friends! We enjoyed it too much! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTlOujb9poU&feature=player_embedded
  14. The spacer is already installed so I guess I will face no problem with the non-plastic alternator cover. The coils are original, as far as the regulator, rectifier and alternator, I suppose they are original. I did an inspection during the first -in my hands- service, but I didn't notice if the above are the originals. To tell the truth I could not tell since I am not aware of how the original ones look. But I am reading the manuals and every LMI book related, so in time I will have the knowledge.. Truly in LOVE with this machine! As far as old bikes, I also like the 1000 SP a lot!! Cheers Dimitris
  15. Orson I am sorry it took me so long to respond. Personal Problems keep me away. But this is something I will find the remedy.. As fas as travelling to Greece, Gino and v11cafe gave you a picture. I strongly believe that you will enjoy riding on Greek mountains and in no time, find yourself riding along the sea.. There are so many nice places that I don't know from where to begin with. I would recommend to focus on a certain geographical region and ride it ALL! For example Peloponnisos is a great way to enter in Greek Scenery and beauty. Yes the Italians have better wines! (almost..). But allow me to say that as far as food....OH!! Visit the country and you will redefine the word "tasty food". Very interesting local/traditional dishes. For many other infos, I would be glad to share it with you.
  16. FalcoLion, Since you spent a lot of money (for the BMW), why didn't you buy a new MGS O1? Problem of homologation (street legal) I suppose?
  17. The sound of the pipes/mufflers combination is AWESOME! But I can't stop thinking of these beautiful black (with red in the end inside) Competizione Lanfranconis... I bought it from Germany, that's why the look and shape is in EXCELLENT CONDITION Hahahahahahah! I altered the alternator cover with the original one (not black). I also altered the Horns witht the original ones (even though they are not louder). I prefer to be as close as it can be, to the 100% authenticity/originality. I noticed as I was servicing the bike that the German guy had installed the Dyna electronic system (pic) I suppose it will be better this way..
  18. Just can't believe how pleasant, superb, excellent-braking a 32 year old bike can be.. Here is me new "old" lady, that recently arrived..
  19. Please Belfastguzzi, do not speak loudly. My V11 RC is not aware of "wearing" Japan made Fork seals. She might get angry.. I will report back!
  20. Thank you guys! My mechanic used the R1 fork seals. Everything fine now. We also changed the fork oil with Elf 5w. Now let's see how many kilometers the seals will stay alive!

    Scura

    It's DARK! It's beautiful!
  22. Belfastguzzi, Thank you so much! The Suzuki fork seals is an option. But for the shake, which are the oem part codes? Where can I buy Ohlins oil?
  23. How can I get the Ohlins part codes? I read the parts manual, but there are no indications for the Ohlins fork seals, rings codes etc... ( )
  24. Hi!! There is some oil leakage from the right Ohlins Fork (V11 Rosso Corsa). Does anyone know the dimensions of the Ohlins fork seal? I am thinking of trying to change the damaged fork seal by myself, with the help of a friend, so I have to do a market search. Thank you Dimitris
