  1. I'm happy to report that the bike has been recovered. There is some damage to the ignition, seat and turn signal. It's still in the tow lot and I haven't gotten to check it out yet.
  2. It was in my loft. I’m a professional commercial photographer.
  3. Probably didn't know what it was. Only that it looked great.

  7. I rode over to a client who's office is in the Italian part of St Louis, "The Hill". When I was leaving there was an older gentleman with a cane (probably 80 or so)standing outside a shop staring at my bike. As I walked up to it he started walking towards me looking a bit irritated. I was expecting a bit of tongue lashing when he asked me if it was mine. I replied it was, to which he said he heard me drive up and was waiting til I got back so he could listen again. He said it had be a long time since he had hear a real Italian motorbike! Todd
  8. Hey John, You've got a great bike. I've always liked the Scuras. Have you had it long?

  9. Hello Todd, I'm a Scura owner in Spfd. Mo.

  10. Well it is not the rear brake as far as I can tell. Going to spend Easter investigating. I gain some comfort that nobody has added a comment here that they had a smiliar noise before some catastrophic failure I do use the rear brake quite frequently as I have locked the front too many times when used in isolation. I got bored with carrying a change of underwear. I too had a strange buzzing at certain RPMs and when braking. Turns out it was one of the front brake caliper cover that fit on the slide pins vibrating. A gentle little tweek of the tabs put and end to it.
  11. Obviously! A good piece, -of work...! I went into your Facebook-page and watched more of your photos. Lots of nice and interesting stuff! Filled me with inspiration... Glad you liked. Facebook doesn't like a lot of my work.
  12. Some days are definitely better than others. Even if I can't ride the bike.
  13. A friend send this to me. I thought I pass it along.
  14. Thanks for the quick response! It's much more on the left side, but it's coating both sides. Your description of an origination point seems pretty close to where it appears to be originating...and while it LOOKS substatial, as we all know, a little oil looks like a lot when it's blowing around and coating stuff. I might shag the afternoon, pull the tank and have a look. I can't get it to run right anyway, so I suppose I need to just tear into on all fronts! Thanks again very much! Mine was seeping oil from the magnetic ignition pickup and the oil was spreading to both side of the bike, but primarily from the top left. As I recall the fix was pretty straight forward.
