    v 11 rear sets

I have the rear sets from Rosso Puro (in red), looks nice, works very well, no risk whatsoever to get to touchdown before you run out of rubber
  3. you didn't notice he switched fork between the snaps too
  4. the Mulhacén is lovely but I haven't found any rentals. But nothing wrong with a Daytona 675. Could be rented here: http://www.catalansportsbikes.com/bikehire.html quiet expensive Hmm, should I try to get one anyway? I'm going to Barca and Valencia on Wednesday
  5. the schedule is now announced: November 4th, 2007 is the date of the MotoGP finale in Valencia
  6. temporary setback: 15/10 Reggina - Roma 1-0

  8. This is what I would do, - fly into Barcelona in mid-October - rent a bike and go north to the Pyrennees - then south again to the lovely mountain roads in the province of Valencia - and finish it with the MotoGP finale which is usally at the end of october in Valencia.
  9. Max Biaggi will ride the WSBK-Suzuki but I think he will not be world champion in his first year. Bayliss, Barros and Haga is the main contenders IMHO. Nicky's clutch problem is in his left hand, or rather in his head, not even the mighty HRC can fix that. He will loose the top spot in the championship today, which is the best thing that could happen to him, since then he have nothing to loose at the finale in Valencia and have to ride to in again. But probably Rossi has broken Nicky's self confidence and the only way Vale will loose this is if something bad (DNF) does happen in the last two races. I will be at Valencia in two week, anybody else going?
  10. tried YouTube? http://www.youtube.com/
  11. yes http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8504 don't think so: 1 Roma 5 4 0 1 10-2 12 2 Palermo 5 4 0 1 12-9 12 3 Inter 5 3 2 0 10-7 11 ..... 12 Milan 5 3 2 0 5-1 3 (serie A, today)
  12. OK, I'm not alone. side stand has to stay in the pits next time Pirelli Diablos is the tyres of choice. the problem was in the banked hairpin which is a bit downhill:
  13. and lean the bike against a tree? I do that with my enduro bike but it is perhaps a bit radical with the street bike
  14. I have to the MotoSpecial V-sump so the rubber rest for the foot end of the stand is not there and the stand rest up agains the exhaust pipe so that end much higher up than on a stock bike. I also got Rossopuro footpeg which is higher up than normal. So the lowest point obviously is the point of contact. I had stiffened up my Paioli for track use, but it is 15 mm shorter than stock so that can be part of the problem but I am not going back to a Marzocchi fork. I need a different attachment for the side stand either short or placed elsewhere
  15. 2nd track visit today, this time on a carting track. And an unpleasent suprise: in a banked corner I was riding on metal to my big suprise, took a good look to find the point of contact, didn't see it with the sidestand out, but a mate spotted it when I was preparing to back onto the track and flicked up the sidestand ( see attached image) The pressure knob for the side stand kill switch and some alu beside is seriously worn. It would be nice to find an altertive stand that don't have the pivot so far down... any ideas??
  16. spam away already updated my avatar for the start of Serie A

    new Guzzi Sport

it's not an official picture just a speculative photoshop mock-up
  20. As reported earlier Moto Guzzi will concentrate on launching a sports bike next after efforts on the Norge tourer and Griso muscle bike. Today this has been confirmed from the Moto Guzzi press office. Moto Guzzi told me that they are testing a 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 litre engine destined for the new sports bike. Only one of the configurations will make it, but cubes will give the new bike more muscle and an advantage on the road. The bike will be fully faired and the styling will be a mixture between the Griso and Norge models. Pic: HvW It is believed Moto Guzzi has been developing an adventure bike they intend to call Stelvio. Moto Guzzi told us this project has been postponed at least one year so no production ready adventure bike later this year at the EICMA show in Milan. from www.raptorsandrockets.com
  21. no worries, the 950 is too heavy anyway more like a commuter bike dressed up like a SM. 450 is more like it for serious fun
