  1. Has anyone used supertrapps on Guzzis or otherwise? Experience - quality, sound, added performance? http://www.supertrappind.com/MotorcycleATV...rtbike_page.htm
  2. Hmm, since the pods is closer to the engine they will suffer from more from the engine heating the air around them on the bench than in real life too. So it will be hard to tell if pods has an advantage or disadvantage conpared to the air box when running on the bench.

I'm not John, but I can give an answer anyway. I see prices for the fork on the web around $2500 or the same amount of euros or 22000 swedish kronor for the forks and about 6500 swedish kronor or about $600 for the rear damper.
  4. 2 non-technical reason to go with pods: 1. looks - pods looks more like a race bike and without the airbox you get a lighter more classic italian sportbike look. 2. sound - I have a K&N on my BMW car engine. Sound great when you accelerate. Technical: An engine runs on air (with a little petrol added), on a four-stroke engine we would want free non-turbulent flow as possible of cold air. (Cold air is richer in oxygen and have bigger mass per volume than warm) I am sorry to say that a reliable freeflowing non-heated airstream is difficult to find on a bike, so we need a compromise. Most racebike goes for pods since it is easy to maintain and gives a reliable free flow of air (and saves weight too). Ram-air: Destroys aerodynamics (not that if makes much difference on my V11s sans fairing). More important it is unreliable and make it hard to map the FI. How do you simulate the effect of ramair when running in a bench mapping you PowerCommander?

I asked Öhlins about V11 forks since they are not featured on there website http://www.ohlins.se/ I got the answer that V11 forks are sold (probably due to contract issues) exclusively by Moto Guzzi. Someone (not officially) mentioned the a Monster fork probably would fit OK.

  7. Roberto, I am interested to. I hasa rattling like something is loose in the clutch housing , it would be interestng to know the probable cause, so I know if I can ride it to the upcoming service or has to fix it myself before that.
  8. Hej Tommy, raise your hand. I live in Sweden too but at the other end of the country (Luleå). I actual does not have my MG yet, I am picking it up on friday in southern Sweden and will ride it home hopefully without being hit by a snowstorm I am 40 years old and have always liked Italian and British motorcycle, I currently own a 1970 BSA twin which I will probably keep for shorter runs when the sun shines. The V11 I am picking up is for longer trips then I trust to the Beeza for. I am also a member of Svinkallt MC the friendly biker club of my former home town Kiruna, probably one of the most northern clubs in the world.

    nice music

Very nice indeed, a classic look as opposed to big slipons which looks like ventilation tubing
