  2. I wrote a passionate CL ad, but if you are on this forum I guess I can skip the introductions. Selling my 2000 V11 Sport due to a long-distance move [dammit]. All warranty work is current and has been done by MG dealer. Purchased in 2006 in San Francisco and garaged since, between riding! 41k miles. Fuel system just refreshed with new pump, filter, pressure reg., lines, and tune. Airbox removed recently and replaced with K&N pods, I love the look, OEM airbox and covers come with sale. Brakes new, tires ok. $5000 OBO, no delivery unless you are in the Southwestern USA. Both the bike and myself are now in San Diego, California [email: jrpflueger@yahoo.com]
  3. I've had this problem twice. The first time I checked nearly every wire, relay, and switch - ultimately leading me to a degraded wire connection I found in the ignition key switch also. I soldered it and I was back in business with my taillight, signals, and instruments back on. The second time this problem arose, with exact symptoms, I checked the switch first and a different wire had fouled. I had to remove the switch from the bottom where it mounts to the gauge cluster, right in front of the upper triple clamp. Have Fun, Go Fast, Be Cool.
  4. I have read about the RossoPuro and Motobits products available, but I would still like to see more options. Are there any available or is a conversion from another bike possible? My 00 V11 was dropped in the parking lot when some ass backed into it. Days later, the rear brake fell off as I was using it, I didn't notice the fatigue that the fall had caused. Bummer, looking for a solution, possibly in the US?
