too tall

I have a sigma 1606L bike computer/Speedo on my V11,and until I changed the battery today it worked fine, the Speedo doesn’t record now. According to the instructions only the clock needed to be reprogrammed. I've tried doing what the instruction manual suggest to get this unit to work but still no luck. I'm computer challenged. If anyone out there has one of these units and understands it's set up and wouldn't mind helping a non geek sort this thing out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Frank. NYC.

I removed the broken reset knob on my Speedo. I noticed that the odo and trip meter isn't turning as quickly as it should. If I take the Speedo apart do I risk the possibility of losing any small parts? Does anyone have photos of the disassembled Speedo? Thanks, Frank.

I tried to reset my trip meter yesterday and now the odometer and trip meter won’t turn. The trip meter knob feels as if it came loose or has bent. Is this a doable repair that a shade tree wrench can handle? If so what's the procedure? Thanks, Frank.
