  1. Pop in your dvd of "The World's Fastest Indian" and enjoy the weekend. I'm a p***y when it comes to riding cold.
  2. I can't top any of this testimonial service. I know that Asians build superior technology and quality. I also know they are nothing more than a machine with no soul and I feel no real connecton to. A Moto Guzzi (as with all Italian motorcycles) are flawed works of art with two thousand years of aesthetic passion put in a 3-dimensional form. Are these motorcycles for everyone? No. That's where Japanese motorcycles come in. These bikes are for the man who admires exotic beauty and has "grok" . If you know someone who has these characteristics he rides a MotoGuzzi.
  3. Was there a wiring diagram in the back of the owners manual? I assume you are wanting to know the wiring and color code of the wiring harness? Does your bike have a closed loop (oxygen sensor) system?
  4. The fine is better than "time" and giving up your "cherry" to someone you hardly know.
  5. Please include the fact it has to be triple-chrome plated with the sacred insignia and serve no purpose other than decrease gas mileage, increase noise levels to a tractor-pull level, be on the exterior because it's all about show, tell you friends how much you paid for this worthless acouterment or last but not least have one before anyone else does!!! p.s. I have nothing against H/D. Some of the owners have a strong fetish that I don't understand.
  6. Your profile did not show where you live but Greg @ Moto-International stocks (Roper plates) them.
  7. I wil call you anyway because I need to get some parts for Givi monokey mounts.
  8. My apologies. THis device is more of a baffle, seperator plate or something like that. I have it and would not have a bike w/out it.
  9. Mark, It's good to have you! Jump in and mouth off !!
  10. FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH. I just installed one of these "windage trays" on my V11. I have looked at all of these on this site and thought it was too much to buy one. After thinking for about 1 minute I realized I didn't need to make a mistake in making one of these. Moto-Int. stocks and sells P.Roper mfd. plates. After getting it I realixed I was looking at a work of art. Any mechanic who owns a Guzzi probably has one of these or similar devices in the crankcase of their bikes. As I have stated in earlier posts: If you don't want one Pete is not pushing these things on anyone,if you want it, buy it. Peter's converts are not knocking on doors selling them. p.s. Peter I do not know anything about your personal life. My prayers go out for you and yours.
  11. This winter you can send the injectors to Lindertech in Indianapolis, In. They can clean, refurbish and flow rate to match the two injectors. This place is very good and very reasonable to boot! Aside from a PowerCommander this is the most important thing you can do to keep this running in top shape.
  12. I'm not sure what types of auto shops or auto dealers there are where you live. I would suggest a car dealership. Go to the parts dept.and ask for a leak detector dye for engine oil or manual trans.fluid. See if you can work out something with the service mgr. or ome of the mechanics to use (borrow)the UV light and glasses to find the source of the leak.
  13. Richard, I think the injector plug is a "Bosch" type connector. You can purchase a "noid" light to plug into the connector to check for pulse. These can be purchased at auto parts stores or tool (Snap-On) trucks. These are inexpensive and you will want to keep them around for troubleshooting. If you are getting a pulse you might be able to tap on the injector with a 3/8" extension(while the engine is running) to free up the injector pintle. Believe it or not this usually works.
  14. You can price a t-belt job and get close on a $ amount. Can you price the same job with a few more levels of work? Bent valves, damaged head, pistons, bent rod(s) and finally throw it all away and look for another engine. This risk would be like having sex w/someone with AIDS. Why take the risk?
  15. Take a very good flashlight and look between the seat and tailpiece. Use a long small blade regular tip screwdriver to push the lever to open. Also if you look in the forums there are pictures of what you are trying to accomplish.
  16. Nice? They look like they belong on a chariot of the gods !
  17. I hope you never become accustomed to living in such beauty.
  18. One of eight (rumored) dealerships in the US is in Paducah,Ky. These Indians look like aircraft carriers after riding a sport bike. It still looks good. They also have a full line of Piaggo bikes. These bikes look great too.
  19. For the love of money is..........
  20. Has anyone had experience with Palo Alto Speedometer Service for the speedo problems on these bikes?
  21. I still look at it and think it is still the most beautiful bike I have EVER seen in my lifetime.
  22. It's to remind me I waited 8 weeks for this backordered *********!!! to find out I couldn't mount it properly and if I did i would have to get within 12 in. of the face to see how fast I was traveling right before I crashed. For the digital dash: if you could properly mount it and not destroy the wiring, GO FOR IT!
