  1. I have the complete set of foot pegs and controls off my 2000 V11 Sport for sale. I installed a set of Motobits foot controls and pegs, I don't need the stock pieces anymore. I don't really know what these parts are worth, I would think around $100 plus shipping??
  2. About halfway down this webpage is May and one of his Guzzis: http://www.thundersprint.com/First%20Timers%20Guide.htm g
  3. I have a 2000 Sport that I bought a set of used risers($50) and a set of bars for($20), I had the holes drilled in the top triple($60). Like you I ran the wires behind the fork tube, it worked on mine. What width are your bars? If you put a tape measure straight across the end to end? Mine are 29" wide, 3" pullback and 3" rise. If your bars are a little too wide for your wires, you can always cut an inch or so off each end to get everything to fit up?
  4. Before you put on the new top triple clamp, did you reroute the right switch gear wires and throttle cable behind the triple clamp or did you leave them in the stock location that runs under the top triple and out front of the forks?? Is that making sense?
  5. Moto Bits doesn't list the Sport kit on the website, but I contacted Brent Prindle, BrentP@MotoBits.com, I ordered a set for my 2000 V11 Sport, the total shipped to my house in NorCal was $353.90 usd. Shipping was $13.50 so the actual cost of the kit was $340. I ordered it on 6/6 so I haven't received it yet. He had 10 kits left when I placed my order, so he has 9 left now. I actually like where the stock pegs are located, it's great in the twisties, but like most everyone else, at about 150 miles I'm in some pretty good pain. I've had back surgery and some other things done. So I'm very excited to receive the kit and hopefully be able to enjoy longer rides. I also removed the clip-ons and did the handlebar mod on the bike. The handlebar mod is awesome, add the motobits kit, I should one happy rider.
  6. For sale: Stock V11 Sport clip-ons-complete with allen set screws, screw in bar weights and all. I'm located in Northern California-$150 for the pair plus shipping. Clip-ons are off a 2000 V11 Sport.
  7. I have a set of stock clip-ons I just took off my 2000 V11 Sport that I would part with. Good stock condition, complete with factory screw in bar weights and all. If you'd like to make me an offer, please email me at : gary.gman66@gmail.com I've had 2 back surgeries so I know I won't be needing them again...
  8. I just put handle bars on my 2000 V11 Sport. It was super easy! I went to the motor cycle junk yard, $45 bought some used bar mounts, don't know what they came off? I then took off the top triple clamp and took it down to the machine shop, $65 to have the holes bored in the triple. Then bought some black super bike bars from Chaparral for $13. I then dremmeled off the plastic locating pins on the switch gear, leave a little bump and they will tighten down perfect, pull the head light and mount away from the fork to reroute the right hand cables and lines, no need for this on the left. Put it all together and it is sweet and comfy! So for about $123 usd it's done. Have a buddy provide an extra set of helping hands, makes it a lot easier.
