  1. Ok, I will resist my urge...I did notice some sort of glue that prevents me from turning the screw... my concern was more for lack of play... but it fine..... Thanks
  2. Other than the adjustment at the lever-master cylinder, is there an adjustment at the slave down below?
  3. Yes Identical. Thanks
  4. Howdy folks. Attached is a photo of a plug off my 04 v11. Please take a look and let me know if you guys think about the mixture. plug is around 1k old ngk bpr6es. valve clearances are at 04 intake 06 exhaust.... insulator is white with a spot on the side... very little wear. some carbon on the threads/base Thanks for your input Charles
  5. The best I've attained is 41 miles per gallon doing a steady 70 on the highway. I've heard that the stock 04 v11 map is more on the rich side everywhere except for the 2800-3300 rpm area where it is somewhat lean.... MTC Charles 04 V11 naked with a my15m ecu and heavy cherry bomb inserts in stock cans....
  6. I finally bit the bullet and bought a ballabio handle bar kit for my 04 naked and I can't believe the difference in practicality! Instead of wanting off at around 80 miles of distance with the clipon's, I think I can run the tank dry twice with the handlebar set up! I didn't have the stock bar for it so I used a lsl superbike bar and drilled the proper holes for the control locations. Also, I was trying to drill and tap the ends of the bars to accept the stock clipon barend weights but I realized that it was much more practical to just get rid of the end nut, shave the rubber insulator down with a razor blade and shove it it with a tight interference fit. ( it won't go anywhere ) I even used the stock clutch line by bending it at a 90 degree angle, even though I have the longer one with the kit. It really transforms the bike! Charles
  7. Thanks, I didn't realize that there is a cap covering the hex nut ! thanks. Sorry, I didn't change the lemans iv, which I sold to buy the 04 v11s naked best regards, charles
  8. Howdy folks, is there a nut under the shiny cap of the top triple clamp that has to be loosened before it can come off? have the 3 pinch bolts and headlight bracket off,... thanks for any suggestions. Charles
  9. Im installing a Ballabio bar conversion on my sport and was wondering if anyone can take a look at the photos to tell me if the metal spacer is indeed in the right spot, resting on the triple clamp. the parts diagram was confusing. This way, it seems like it will give me ample clearance on the top tubes. Thanks charles
  10. My 04' V11s's under alternator crossover stays quite loose even with the clamps tightened to max. just swivels around. Anyone else have similar issues? doesn't seem to be leaking at the joints. Wonder if they are all like this. comments appreciated! Regards
  11. Trying to convince my brother to use his s1 Lotus Europa as an interesting platform for a guzzi drive train... see attachment
  12. Sounds like time for a My15m ecu conversion. I was only getting high 30's with the stock ecu and now I'm getting 44-46mpg on the highway with my cored pipes.
  13. Bob, what clip on's are those with the risers? from a different bike? btw, your mufflers I bought that I cherrybombed are working nicely. Regards, Charles
  14. What is the general effectiveness of the factor crossover pipe below the alternator on the 03 and later models and how it works with the aftermarket crossovers below the sump.... If I eliminate the undersump crossover, would there be a big hole through the midrange? I have a my15m to solve any mapping issues...
