  1. From what I can understand from their website they only sell seat covers. Very nice ones btw.
  2. Looks like popart... Or something from M.C. Escher.
  3. To be honest, Captain, you were the cause of me looking fot this software. I read "pounds per inch" in one of your posts. I thought that was too difficult to calculate to Nm so I started Googling for some freeware. So thanks!
  4. It wasn't me! I couldn't get on the forum at all last night. My guess is there was a server problem, because my email and FTP didn't work too...
  5. I've noticed we sometimes have problems with US units vs. European ISO units. I found a freeware program that converts every thinkable unit to ISO or vice versa. The online version is here: Versaverter Online The downloadable version (2Mb) is found here: Versaverter (self extractable file-Windows only)

I don't know how long you're going to stay in Miami... but our visit is planned for July 2004. I guess you'll be back then
  7. Al, about your forelast posting. That's the content I''m looking for the homepage. Excellent writing and I agree 100%!
  8. I think there is a big difference between the marketing geeks that have the clothing line produced trying to imitatie HD (Guzzi World Club... ) and the people that are responsible for the build quality. At the moment they both screw up, it seems, but I'm not buying a bike because their clothing line has durable stichings.
  9. Captain, you are kiddin', right? You are gonna give up on a motorcycle brand like Guzzi because you don't like their clothing line?

No, I'm sad to say we only stay about three weeks in the US. Going by bike is postponed, I feel I have to regain trust in my riding skills before I start off on such a journey. My GF and I are going to rent a RV and start in Seattle. Then see the sites/landscapes in the NW before going to San Francisco which will be the endpoint of our trip. We will be in the US from about July 20th until August 10th as far as we can predict. So we don't need a place to stay, we bring our own! But a small Guzzi party would be great! I'd like to meet you and talk Guzzi. If you have any pointers on this trip let me know!

  13. Hi, you can find some threads on the topic by doing a search. Use PASSENGER as keyword. I never ride two up so I can't give you an opinion...

@ John: But you haven't got a Öhlins fork! Guess who has one for sale in a month or so? Email me for more info.
  15. This is an Aprilia 6.5 (designed by Phillipe Stark) Don't know if this was sold in the US. The usual link should work again (Thx Al) You could use this direct link in the future: Direct link to forum Don't forget to add it to your favourites!
  16. Captain, is this what you want to achieve with the exhaust? I like this, not sure on the white paint...
  17. Al is right. I believe it doesn't matter that much where exactly you drill the f.i. 5 mm hole(s), as long it is only in the plastic housing, not in the tach body! (Pictures are a bit difficult on a V11LM, I'd have to take the fairing off...)
  18. Maybe the law suits from your neighbours?
  19. With two of those giant discs I really would be afraid of braking hard
  20. He probably tells it slower so that he has a bit more time to prepare for a beating
  21. @ KiwiDave From what I recall forummember Biesel did put all the separate pdf's together once. He sent me a copy, but I can't find it anymore... So, better ask him first before you do all the work!
  22. I have the same as you and Paul, the forklegs from the CS. In addition I have bought some spare parts from a German CS-owner who is going to attach a sidecar. I can pick them up somewhere around february.
