  1. FWIW, I deleted the comment by JethThran and flagged him as a spammer.
  2. I did it the other way around and as far as I can remember that worked.
  3. Just a heads up: I'll be keeping a close eye on this thread. Things can escalate quite fast. Expressing your opinion and/or experiences is okay, but no discussion please. This is not the right place for that. FWIW: I've had my two Pfizer shots and apart from a day of muscle ache, no side effects whatsoever.
  4. The cases on my '01 V11 LM were redone through warranty. It came back with a wrinkled finish that almost matched the finish on the gearbox. I could only spot the difference from very close by. I believe it was done by a firm in Germany. Afaik they redid all the bad cases.
  5. Boy, how I would love to come over! But financially it's just not possible.
  6. https://www.mgcn.nl/forum/index.php?/topic/26157-dr-john-register/ No results in on the the Dutch forum so far, maybe someone has contacted you directly?
  7. Business wise (I'm self employed) I had a really crappy 2nd and 3d quarter in 2020. But in October suddenly (new) clients began to call. Everything's going well! Next week I will receive the keys to my new home. After 4 years in a small apartment, my GF and I decide to finally stop with the LAT and move in together. We bought a nice roomy house (with a garage! ) and we hope to grow old together there. As for Covid: we had an 'intelligent lockdown' last year and in the summer after the first wave everything loosened up a bit. But when the second wave came our government decided we had to be at home at 9.00 PM until 4.30 AM. This is still the case. To be honest, apart from closed shops, bars and restaurants an doing the online meetings, my life wasn't very different. We we're allowed to get out on our bike. That made up for all the other stuff.
  8. Same here. Left side of tires always wear down faster. Has to do with riding on the right side, but I also enjoy left-handers much more.
  9. My guess is you're too late already...
  10. The professor on the drumkit. Can't believe he passed a year ago already.
  11. My guess is even Moto Guzzi itself doesn't know!
  12. Docc, once again you have proved your indispensability to this forum!
  13. It's a complete kit, made by Ghezzi-Brian in Italy. I read today the company is for sale

    It's made by Ghezzi & Brian: http://www.ghezzi-brian.com/
  15. A reputable BMW dealer (for almost 50 years!) in my neck of the woods also is dealer for the 4 Japanese brands (and ZERO electric bikes) BMW forced them to build a mega showroom or at least use the full front shop window for their bikes only. They refused and decided to quit BMW. They still sell them though, and the workshop still has two BMW specialists. They just made a deal with the next BMW dealer. Their new wharehouse staff though... I once asked for a M8 x 40 hex bolt. Their reply: 'What bike and year?'
  16. It's been a while, but I remember vividly that the bike almost didn't steer when you tighten it too fast. I decided to take it off completely after that. Put it back on when I changed it to the Ghezzi & Brian version V11.
  17. I've tried fastening it. Let's just say it wasn't one of my better judgement calls
  18. That's so cool! Any ideas for a paint scheme or is it going to stay aluminium? I would love to see it in Azzuri blue!
  19. I remember mine was the same from new. You could take it off to check for wear
