  1. Well done! And looking great too! FWIW, when I did this conversion I had it on the dyno and had my ECU flashed by a specialist. Best € 400,- I've ever spent. After that it went line the proverbial freight train.
  2. Could you please try again to upload? According to tech support, the problem is solved.
  3. Just wanted to share this with you. And say an extremely big thank you to the Canadian 1st Infantry Division that freed our region. I can't imagine what these boys have experienced. We won't forget. Never. https://www.gelderlander.nl/berg-en-dal/no-ceremony-but-thousands-of-tulips-to-remember-the-fallen-canadian-soldiers-in-groesbeek~abec328c/
  4. As from 2003 MG used the satin finish. But there are early 2003 models with the bad wrinkle paint. (Now I see Docc was way ahead of me with his answer )
  5. What's wrong with it? I thought only the early models with the wrinkle finish had problems.
  6. After almost 20 years my leather combi didn't fit anymore. I wonder why... I decided for a more comfortable option and bought new pair of Macna Indivi kevlar jeans and a Held Black 8 jacket. With a big Easter discount Both fit like a glove.
  7. Update on Paul's situation (April 9th 2.00 PM). Things are looking up: Paul has come through the night quietly, no fever, now calm and stable, inflammatory values slowly falling, sleep medication will decrease a little bit, he can slowly start breathing again himself ...
  8. Yesterday this was written on the dutch Guzzi forum: Unfortunately, Paul has a relapse. That sucks but it does happen to almost every patient, right now in the process (between 5 and 7 days in the ICU). He now lies on his stomach with more ventilation and more sleeping medicines, and he responds well to that. We now have to wait and see when he gets better, that can take a few days. The inflammatory values in his blood do improve so that is good news. The doctors are still satisfied with his condition. It's all terribly worrying and unfortunately not over yet. I haven't seen Paul for quite some time; this really took me by surprise. Speedy recovery mate!
  9. I didn't want myself to be able saying this, so I left my wife.
  10. I am a dialect speaker, and I have thick accent when I (try to) talk CCD (Common Civilized Dutch). In my dialect I can hear if someone is from my small village or another village 10 kms away. As far as foreign languages go: all of the stuff on Dutch TV is subtitled, so I've learned to recognize al lot of english and german accents. And peculiarities from several regions, which I gladly use to p*ss off the locals
  11. Hahaha! But it's a '93 (last production year) and it already has a CD player!
  12. Update (sort of): I traded my Volvo 240 for... a Volvo 240. 2 years younger and a lot less kms on the clock. (My GF started to worry)
  13. Just wondering how everybody is doing. I'm okay, working from home. No complete lockdown here (yet) Take care everyone! (please don't make this a political thread )
  14. Correct, all the G&B bikes, not the kit bikes like the Sport Monza, are based on the Sport 1100. AFAIK the G&B frame doesn't take the V11 with 6speed box.
  15. Same here, one of the best selling BMW dealers (over 30 years!) in the country also sells all four Japanese brands. BMW forced them to either build a separate showroom or give them all available window space. They refused and it escalated quickly. They still sell and repair BMWs, but they are not an official dealer anymore. And they don't care, the margin on new bikes is ridiculously low, even on Beemers.
  16. Don't know, but to make sure, you can call one of the 16.000 Bosch Automotive dealers in the UK
  17. I've had my oil light coming on in the rain in 2006 on my way to the GMG in Mandello. It scared the sh*t out of me... After a phone call to my mechanic at TLM I was reassured. Just water in the wrong place. After a smoke and half an hour break the oil light didn't come on anymore.
  18. Give Bosch a call: https://www.boschaftermarket.com/gb/en/parts/dxt/products/category/ce_23100943/productline/ce_23100963?hints=false#scrolldetail or order from eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113804660539 or here: https://www.euspares.co.uk/parts/bosch/1154801
