  4. Doing an ebay search, i find 2 different types of Champion red resistor caps... PRO5U http://www.ebay.com/itm/320873934905?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649http://www.ebay.com/itm/320873934905?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 PRO5M http://www.ebay.com/itm/321061987056?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Which (or neither) is correct for the V11 ? What is the difference between these two caps ? (my application is the 2000 Greenie) Thanks in advance ! Steve Swan
  5. Are there any more reports or updates on Caswell coating our V11 tanks ? Would be interested to have an update from those who used Caswell's and did not have satisfactory result; if lifting has got worse or other complications. Also, to hear from 'oldbutnotdead', his tank being media blasted prior to Caswelling. Even then, could not media blast every square inch of the tank's inside make me concerend. I just bought a Caswell kit to use on an old Yamaha tank, but i'm not feeling good considering it for Greenie. Reading this thread has pretty much cooled me off to coat my tank with any type of coating product. My Greenie has one pencil eraser sized area which appears like a bubble and the left fork just touches the tank. Keep expecting some day to pull the cover off and have a blister the size of a football.
  6. Thanks, Dave, for your reply. I like the simplicity and durablity of the Pingel. And, I like the added plus of a quiet fuel pump. Steve Swan
  7. I've been dliligently researching without success for information about what type of Pingle and adapter can be fitted to replace the electric fuel valve on my 2000 Greenie. Would appreciate hearing from those who have converted to a Pingle, what valve and adapter is best. Thanks for your help.
  8. A friend of mine, retired 40 year Yamaha mechanic, has vintage Yamaha's for sale, 180's, 250's, 350's and 400's. He has a rare 1960 factory Yamaha motocrosser he will sell. Also, a 1969 H1 Kawasaki with lots of extra parts. Anyone interested call Ron Peak, Loveland, Colorado, 970.310.3908 or email Ron at rocketpk@comcast.net
  9. You're getting the bike out of Colorado Springs ? http://denver.craigslist.org/mcy/3186344338.html I'd like to know what brand rear stand is being used. i wrote the seller asking about the stand, he did not reply. the stand "appears" to be a Lockhart Phillips..... ?
  10. Hi, I'm new to the forum, just took ownership of a lovely low mile 2000 Lime/Red V11 Sport. Every time i look at it and ride it i love it more and more. My other Guzzi is an '09 CalVin. I'd like to source the tank pad/cover that's done in carbon fiber. I've been searching as many places as i can find and have searched the forum, hoping to find the manufacturer or supplier. I've included a picture of what i am referring to, recently this bike sold on ebay. I asked the seller about the part, but his reply was, "The cover was on the bike when i bought it." Thanks in advance ! Steve Swan
