  1. The latest batch went out today. I'd recommend boiling the package for 15 minutes.. I'm still testing positive after 10 days.. Sheesh.
  2. Sorry, Mick..I came down with covid symptoms, and was cast into the basement with no computer. For what ever reason, My ancient tablet doesn't play well with the forum. Checked on the phone and I have a p m from you and bing bong. As soon as the dungeon mistress removes the leg iron's I'll get right on it..Hopefully this week. (!)
  3. Okay, Mick.. I'm back. Dead Scura fixed. Lucky Phil Extender on my desk as I type. PM me your mailing address, and it will be headed your way shortly.
  4. Back home again in Indiana.. wrote a song about it.. and can type again. For whatever reason, neither my Android tablet nor Kindle Fire would let me post on this site. They call me Rain man out in SoCal. Every time I come out it rains so I can't ride in the mountains because of the rock and mud slides. Sooooo, I called in a "historic" Pineapple Express *and* Bomb cyclone shortly after I took this picture. My job there was done.
  5. Mark changed out the ignition switch and harness After I told him that was the first place to look. It quit Blowing the fuse after that. Talking into the phone..
  6. Ten gauge might be a bit much..
  7. That was another issue entirely.
  8. Got it. When I arrived today, he said the turn signal fuse would blow after riding a bit. Hit all the connections involved with DeOxit. Looked at wiring we could see,of course. No Joy. Mark said he was done for the day, but I already was cutting cable ties off. In just a couple of minutes, I said, looky here. Where the wiring went to the flasher, there was one bare strand of copper that was chafed and touching the frame. I've always said that electrical issues are easy to fix..you just need to find out what needs fixing..
  9. Yeah I have one, Mick. I'm in Socal playing with the MZ,though. It will be January before I can get it to you..
  10. Just had a call from Mark and he said the forth fuse toward the rear has blown. Any known issue with that?
  11. I'm in Socal, and Mark has a Scura on his hands that will run normally for a while, then suddenly die. No lights, nothing. I told him to clean up the ground at the transmission and have a look at the ignition switch. He's replaced the relays and cleaned up the fuses. It has been over charging and I had him install a new regulator and dedicated ground. Fixed that. Odyssey battery. Could the over charge have done something weird to the battery?
  12. The roach clips are used to mellow you out after a long period of frustration..
  13. Fading memory says the spec for sensor clearance is .030".. but it may just be a false memory. Ok ok.. I went out and looked it up. Between .6 and 1.2mm.
  14. Glad to hear that, John. That is some nasty stuff. One of Dorcia's friends has been in and out of the hospital the last couple of weeks. Says it's the sickest she's ever been. No need to tell me twice, we're back to wearing masks and staying away from people as much as possible. Take care of yourself..
  15. Gots them too. Oldest rider award.. Yeah, it's stylish. Looks and sounds a lot like bikes I rode as a kid without the constant hassle.. very pleasant to ride. Slowly.
  16. When I saved Rosie the Rosso, the rear brake disc was blue and sounded like a gun went off when I removed it. Need I say it had been dragging a bit? My guess is the brake line was routed incorrectly too near the exhaust and the heat pressurized the line. That is only a guess, of course. A new rotor, caliper rebuild, and rerouted brake line fixed it at any rate.
  17. Nine out of the 10 I ran through the whole process. While I had the mill set up, though, I ran the rest, so it won't be much trouble to make more.
  18. Dave is an awesome guy.. was a Guzzi tech rep for years. The cam and lifters in the AeroLario came from Dave.
  19. My Inspection, Packaging, and Shipping Department said the same thing. Shirley the market is saturated by now, though..
  20. Hi, Docc. I shipped one to @Kenblake on July 25, so maybe that is an old one. Haven't heard from @roktbox. They went out today..thanks for keeping tabs on this.
  21. Finished up and they will go out tomorrow. Probably.
  22. @kalev11, I don't have a PM with your mailing address yet. To those that have asked, once they are finished and made it through the extensive inspection by the Chief Inspector, the Shipping Department will send them out and tell me how much each package cost to mail. I will then PM you with actual cost. The easiest way is Paypal, especially overseas shipments.
  23. Machined the blanks yesterday. I have to rework the form tool a little, but should get them formed today. Most likely done tomorrow.. 4 are spoken for. Send me a PM with your mailing address if you want one. $50 plus actual mailing cost.
  24. Ok, three of the absolutely positively last run are spoken for. @Scud.. don't worry about buying any unless you really want one. I took the material I already had along with the little airplane job, and the water jet guy didn't charge me any setup.. he already had the program in the can, and I gave him a file so all he had to do is pick up one corner of the material I gave him to cut the exhaust flanges. Nice guy..
