The universe is punishing us for avoiding the "13th" SSR.....

As of a few days ago there were still two rooms available at the Lodge At Tellico.

Pre-SSR shakedown happening today.

Alas Ducati Tim will not be joining us this year. He was planning on it right up until about a month ago when his employer told him that he needs to be out west at a Kawasaki dealer meeting which conflicts with SSR. That said I will be bringing two first time Raiders with me both with Moto Guzzi's, one of them being a V11 Rosso Mandello.

Dan, you know if you get the V11 down there it will all be sorted out during the tech session......just say'in.

WHAT? You don't want to spend half the morning at a garage???

Next Ride & Meet is August 19th

A heads up to anyone who has not booked a room yet, I just spoke to Walt at the Lodge at Tellico and he told me he has had around half a dozen cancellations for the weekend of SSR14 (it's supposition and/or conjecture on my part but I figure the pirates heard that the "Raiders" were inbound and knew they couldn't hang.....) that said if anyone has not booked a room now might be a good time to jump on it or let anyone that was sitting on the fence know that some rooms are available. Prior to these cancellations Walt had been pretty much booked up on SSR weekend.

That is waaaaay too much thought.........

Unfortunately wet. We had thunderstorms hit us this morning.

There is a Moonshiner / Hwy. 28 rockslide clean up video over on Kill boy's Facebook. That slide was massive.

Anyone see the photos over on Killboy's sites of the rock slide and subsequent clean up on Moonshiner Hwy 28? The slide was several miles southeast of Fontana Dam.
