  2. john mickowskt (motratech) is retiring and will no longer be mfg his footpeg relocation kits, oil pressure kits and relays. he is giving the v11 community the opportunity to buy his business. the business includes casting patterns, engineering drawings for all cnc machined parts, parts lists, instructions, sources and current inventory. this could be a home based business w/all sales via online email w/global shipping by usps priority. if any of our members are interested, please contact john via email: sixela@warwick.net or text: 973 459 9417. john wishes to thank all his customers from the v11 community.
  3. 2004 café sport knees are giving out on my 70 yo body. several years ago I bought a footpeg relocation kit from motratech in new jersey. kinda pricey, but I knew I would need it sooner or later. later has come, and I still have the kit, but the instructions/pictures are nowhere to be found. mfg is seemingly out of business. anyone care to share their pics/instructions so I can ride w/o pain. thanks, xroads

  5. yes, i did go to the link. my knowledge of computer controlled equipment is very low and frankly, i'm intimidated and somewhat ashamed by my lack of technological expertise in this area. i can dial in any tonti frame w/carbs in a half hour flat. i am also good a building long range shooting instruments that hold a minute or less at 1000 yards, but i have no idea what that link was talking about. i feel like such a dweeb.
  6. great response from all, but i'm still a bit in the dark. assuming i don't pop for a pc3 and if i want to learn to "do it myself", what tools will i need to redo my ecu so that i can maximize the benefits of my less restrictive exhaust? how do i tune the computer to run w/my setup?
  7. i am getting my cafe sport ready for some serious riding. got the carbon exhaust on, buell footpegs install, roper plate on order. what can i expect to get in terms of performance gains w/dynojet powercommander? i have looked online, and the only late ones that i can find are for 2001. is this the same as a 2004? who would have the best price? any help appreciated. thanks.
  8. ok, so now i have my 2004 cafe sport (first spine frame) w/2k miles on the clock. amazing bike, great power, super brakes, excellent suppension. got buell pegs to install, set of carbon fiber muffllers on the way. my questions are these: do i need a "slosh plate"? can i use pureolator oil filters w/o harm? should i do my filter changes thru the manhole cover? my bike came w/no tool kit, and i would like to add one, but of better quality than original, so what do i need to carry? is a power commander worth the addition? will i have to have a remap if i put on the mufflers/power commander? i need a rear rack, anyone got one for sale? thanks to all and have a great weekend!
  9. so i have purchased my first new type guzzi. i am well versed on tonti framed guzzis. But know nothing about the v11 series, except for the fact that as soon as i saw my first one, i knew i had to get one. what do i need to watch out for, redo, purchase or rebuild before it breaks? any help appreciated. i did purchase the workshop manual and since i'm over 65, lower pegs from a buell. thanks in advance for the help.
