  1. Can't believe the "just load the Meinolf map via guzzidiag" was omitted. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    Daytona 1000

With the 4 valve head, doesn't that make it an RS?

    God rest the Queen

    Does he ride a Guzzi?
  5. What a great thing Scud has done for us - thank you Scud!
  6. That's great to hear! I installed a Scud spring over 2 years and 5k miles ago and no problems.
  7. If I may ask, since you've had a few, have any of them failed?
  8. Wow, not something you see every day. Checking the health of my bank account now. Magni modified Le Mans on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1986-Moto-Guzzi-Lemans-1000-Custom-restomod-with-Magni-suspension-/275377941684?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0 Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  9. Yea, it is true! I have picked up more nail or screw punctures in the first 500 miles of both new car and motorcycle tires than I care to recount. Being the cheapskate that I am, I probably would have still demounted yours and put a mushroom plug from the inside and used it for a few thousand miles. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  10. ...not to mention a great machine shop. Pretty sweet bike though! Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  11. What a beautiful bike! No wonder you've kept it all these years. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  12. Where is Luke's bike listed? Can't seem to find it. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  13. I bolted mine to the concrete slab - only way to be 100% sure. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, it's an ESR515, which is available in two wire connection configurations for the V11 (pre 2003, and 2003+). I showed the wiring connector differences for pre and post 2003 models about a dozen or so posts above should you be interested. I did apply some dialectic grease after making the connections, so hopefully protected for a while anyway. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  15. Have been meaning to post this for a couple weeks, and seems like a good follow-up to Kiwi_Roy's post above. I made the ground from my new ElectroSport unit as shown. I believe the wire is 14 ga., and I did sand off the paint at the connection point. Please note this photo is taken from below looking up - the wires aren't really visible from standing position. Lemans Decals

What they stock is one thing (I'm amazed they even had one Scura decal in stock). But as with many parts for Guzzis, Ducatis, etc., they may have to be ordered from Italy. All the decals have part numbers, so Harper's should be able to tell you if they can be ordered. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

    Lemans Decals

I think you can still order them through a dealer. If you go to Harper's Moto Guzzi website, they have a parts fiche available online and the decals are listed. Also, MG Cycle has some decals available. Both are located in the US. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  19. ...to add to Kiwi_Roy's post, the rep from ElectroSport who set up my regulator with the correct connectors tied off the small black ground wire so it is not used. He said to make sure the connection at the case to the bracket was clean and tight as that makes a better ground. That said, I'm going to attach a heavy gauge wire from under the regulator fastener washer to a timing case bolt as Kiwi_Roy recommends. A guaranteed ground for 10 minutes worth of work - why not? 21. Replied to both - perhaps there's a delay? Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  22. Mistral Crossover 99-02 V11 Sport & Le Mans w/ NO lambda port. Used but in very good condition. $350 new at MG Cycle, yours for half that: $175 plus shipping (from New Jersey, USA). Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
  23. Manufacturers go through different phases - often times choosing less desirable routes just to survive. We all love the glory days of Guzzi and MV legends of the 50s - 70s. But I'm also glad they are still here today (unlike Laverda and others). I don't think the current state for either marque is the final one, and am hopeful for more glory days for both. 24. In case you didn't see this - a very nice letter from MV Agusta to Moto Guzzi commemorating their 100 years. Great stuff. Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
