  2. Looking good! If you get a chance to post a pic of your GPS mount, I'd love to see it. I'm thinking of going the Speedhut route...
  3. Just wanted to share my recent success story. I have a 2003 V11 with Giannelli exhaust and K&N pods. The bike suffered from the proverbial "cough" at low RPM's. Nothing of consequence, just annoying (and apparently common). I knew there were some horse power being left on the table w/o the power commander (or alternative). So, I bit the bullet and installed one (PCIII USB). WOW! It's night and day. I love it! No cough. More power. I used the stock map from the Powercommander website: 706-502 "European model, Giannelli slip-on's, and stock or aftermarket airfilter" Seemed like a good place to start, coonsidering... Looks like it was close to perfect. I still have some testing to do (and I have not used a dyno), but I am very happy with the initial results.
  4. The VIN is listed in the listing: ZGUKTC0144M111155
  5. Yes. Kind of. Let me explain... I have a 2003 V11 Sport (Cafe). As some of you may notice, the "Green" in 2003 was different than 2000/2001. I took the 2000 Green Bodywork and Magni fairing from my 2000 and installed it on my 2003 (story for another thread). I brought the 2003 in for a service and got it back with a a dead tach and speedo (Story for another thread). Decided to deal with it myself... I'm 99% sure the cable was the issue with the speedo.I ordered a new cable, but, as it turns out, I ordered a LeMans cable which was different from the Cafe. (who knew?) I ordered the correct Cafe cable and come to find out the Speedo angle drive threads are stripped. So, time to order a new angle drive... In my research I found that Veglia has both a 60 and 90 degree angle drives (see pics above). My stock angle drive is 60. I ordered a new 60 (expensive). I'm wondering if I should have the 90 (because of the Magni)?
  6. Veglia makes both 60 and 90 degree drives. See pics:

  8. That's weird. All of my previous posts have disappeared... Gio, Thank you for the pic and great info. Is that a 90 degree angle drive? The one I had on previously was 60.
  9. Photo: https://flic.kr/p/myHYM8 In cable 1 (new cable) the female connector (shown) is smaller than the cable 2 (original). Cable 2 (my original) has two of the same size connectors. Cable 1 (the new cable) has one size that's the same as the original connector and another smaller (shown).
  10. My greenie (w/Magni). How'd you know?
  11. I recently had the speedo cable on my 2003 V11 Sport fail. I ordered a new one from Harper's and noticed the female connectors were two different sizes (on either end, one small, one large). This leads me to believe I either have the wrong cable or the male connectors (from the speedo or engine) were switched out at some point. My guess is the former... Thoughts?
  12. Great Thread! I love what you are doing. Keep up the great work! Now, about those gauges.... Tell us please! Have you been able to test them out?
