  1. They pop up but they're not cheap. It sounds obsurd but just make one. A V11 Lemans , get the color codes and order the decals from Harper. I'm pretty sure you can still even get the Tenni tank pad. And even after making one you will prolly save money. A low mileage Tenni and Coppa Italias are fetching ridiculous money. I'm actually considering doing it to my 02.
  2. This is quite possibly my favorite modded V11.. And it's made to look like a MKI
  3. My bad. That's what I meant. Good save, Sir.
  4. Oh, and your petcock is fine. The 30 amp? Had to think about it.. Sounds like one of my rookie mistakes. Trying to start it letting the starter run maybe? Or the battery may be low. I've done it. Almost threw my helmet once when it happened.. These are new Guzzi owner issues. Easily sorted out.
  5. Is this while riding after a while in hot weather? Kinda sounds like the infamous vapor issue. Sputtering? Stalls? Gurgle sound? Bike sits for a while then starts fine? Sounds like it.. Your burnt fuse may be a different issue. Mine was doing it in this 115 degree heat. Also a valve cove gasket seep (heat stuff). Heat shielding the fuel lines and fuel pump. Plus a new gasket. Should be golden.
  6. Mark is known for many quotes....🤣
  7. If that dude selling the V11 also owns that old V7 then I'd consider it. Or maybe offer $5000-$5500.. The old Goose is a good sign he's cared for it.
  8. I know Tankshop in the UK used to do these tanks years ago for external fuel pump bikes. Worth a shot. They were pricy however hand made. Worth a shot to see if they're still banging out tanks.
  9. I had them custom done by Todd at Guzzitech. The cans started out as M4 carbon that were shortened. They were inspired off the Giannelli high mounts that were discontinued long ago.
  10. Out riding the mountain today. Discovered the hard way my battery is going kaput. 2 years on the money. But it was still a fun ride. Hot but fun.
  11. You've gone practically full custom. But I like where you're going with it. 🤘😎
  12. Looks meh. But better than stock. I'd buy one. 😉
  13. That motor certainly came from a utilitarian heritage. 😉
  14. They're out there. Especially in Kentucky. 🤫
  15. The GPS speedo and tach are his best bet. Install it and forget it. The whole "self lubricating plastic gears" thing was a mega fail for our bikes. And those guys print the dials to look just like the ITI or Veglias too.
  16. Na, this guy is high.. Bike likely needs all new gaskets just from sitting so long. Would rather a Corsa Rossa with 25k on the clocks once owned by an Aerospace Engineer for $6500.. 🤫🤜💥🤛
  17. I was always under the impression there were only 600 Scuras made but apparently not. Is the number 700? Weren't there only 6000 V11s made in 02? If that's the case 1 in 9 V11s were Scuras? I love my Scura. Always wanted one and finally have one. But I'm thinking maybe they're not as rare as we think?
  18. With these bikes creeping on 20 years old it may be ca good idea to list all the compatible relays. Hard to believe these bikes will be 20 years old already. What ya think, @docc? List them parts or highlight the past threads?
  19. The beauty of loving a bike that is loved by folks with engineering backgrounds.
  20. That is likely the real issue.. And way cheaper than going through Piaggio by the way. Thanks!
  21. I was getting some stumbling recently at high rpms. Symptoms identical to mucked up jets in carbs. Then to top it off my tach started acting up. Flopping around stupidly. Got to the point I whipped out my Motogadget gauges (got them and just waiting for the OEM Veglia self lubricating cogs to give up). Welp, put in 20oz of Techron into the tank and stayed on the freeway keeping crazy needled rpm gauge close to 6k rpms between 5th and 6th gear periodically going from 80 to 120ish just opening up the throttlebodies from time to time. I felt a real difference around 60 miles on the tank. Sputtering disappeared. Somehow it fixed my tach. I dunno. Somehow with the tyrottlebodies being off it must of thrown off the tach. Either that or the self lubricating cogs somehow squeezed out some juice and worked some magic. Somehow a $15 bottle of Techron fixed my bike. But the Lemans did tell me to "suck it" by the valve cover gasket leaking a little pissing on my left leg. Oh well. $4 from MG Cycle. Bottom line... Techron some good sh!t. 😉🤫
  22. This is probably every Guzzi is Southern Missouri. I salute you. Guzzi Nomads. 🤜💥🤛
