Yes, this is a standard issue with all the HD:s also, clutch sound is no any worry, and release the clutch a bit and you´ll go for it... -
Got the first real technical problem in 13 years...the gearbox lever quit the job...fortunately the machine is strong enough to stand for riding 150 kilometers through citiets etc. starting from traffic lights withs 5th gear...seems that there is a little problem of some kind of spring force...also a bit of disturbing sound wih 4th gear has happened. Engine has been running only 32 000 km:s, is there a need for bearing repair???

Coming home from Moto Italia Piikkiö Finland a little gearbox problem...the first technicaln problem in 13 years...seems that a gear lever spring needs a bit of loving care...who wouldn´t need some times...
