Is it possible to refurbish v11 sport CV joint, as the inner part is heald with circlips, it must be possible to remove it. So, can it be replaced, re-bushed, are the any aftermarket replacement parts. It seems so wasteful & unnecessarily expensive to replace when repair kits for other vehicles are available.

Hi there. Didn't have faring when I baught it. Think it might have been damaged and removed. I fitted the one you can see. The only way I knew it was a ten I. Was the rear faring had tenni either side. Sent from my MediaPad using Tapatalk 2

I have owned a 2003 sport for 8 years. No major problems apart from the Electrics. The main trouble being the relays positioned under the seat. They can be crushed by the seat, putting pressure on wiring & connectors etc.causing wires to break. Spade connectors to become detached. Wheel bearings need regular replacement. Outer transmition bearing is vulnerable to water contamination. Transmition control arm bushes difficult to find replacements. Necesitating replacement of complete arm. Unless you are inventive. Apart from this. A great bike. Reliable comfortable, power full, :-)

I'm new to site. Had my tenni for about 8 years. Love it. Purchased from motomecca 3 legend X Dorset. It's been around ireland towing a trailer. I used regularly to commute be for I recently rretired.now used for pleasure riding around the beautiful county Cornwall. It's a delite to ride around the winding lanes.
