With Caporex back in form I predict a Ducati 1 & 2 with a Yamaha thrown in for good measure

Hayden managed to qualify 6th. Maybe he's getting that bike sorted.

Edwards again qualifies high, but I've come to expect him to fade during the race.

Is this the one where Pedrosa and Rossi finally go head to head with victory on the line? I'd love to see that.

I keep hoping Hopkins will break through.

Looking forward to a great race. I'm going to watch it Sunday on Speed (standard delay here in USA) with some friends. Please put "spoiler" in header if you decide to discuss results before then. TIA.

FWIW the Ducati's are still a lot faster than the Yamahas. Honda and Suzuki are getting closer - but how is it Pedrosa is almost 10 kph faster than Hayden?

Maybe Nicky has chunked up

Looking at the numbers, assuming riders being roughly equal, Ducati is the favorite for MUSCLE and Yamaha the favorite whatever else makes a bike fast ( I still say it is the reverse direction motor, and maybe the Yamaha Ohlins connection helps, but people prefer to think of Rossi as simply God like, when in fact he is simply the best ever ), with Honda now being the underdog....WTF

But I guess the real underdog is KR junior :bier:

"Trick Daddy" was almost slowest on race tyres, he managed to get a good lap

on a qualifing tyre. I predict 10th place or worse for him.

you very near had the trifecta morris! great race excellent ride by casey. the speculation on rossi is front tyre problem, he did near ride the wheels off it! ciao gazza.

:2c: Yeah good eh, from an aussie point of view. I also predict that stoner will go well in china as well with the track having a 1.2km straight which will suit the top line speed of the Duc.

Its not like rossi to have 2 corner overshoots in a race unless he had some problem  as he obviously had. But would have made interesting racing if he and vermulen had seen race end intact. Chris was doing 1.52's in the later part of the race just get get some points back.

How come Olie Jacques is still out there, he should have been pensioned off years ago, he's also been bit of a spoiler for other riders in previous races. Thats racing I guess. :oldgit:
