Skeeve Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 I believe some years ago Triumph ran into a similar problem with plastic elbows failing on their EFI bikes & came up w/ a steel? retrofit. They had an erly warning device. when your boot was full of gasoline, the line wa getting ready to break into 2 pieces. The replacement is steel. Where these engineers, penny pinchers, etc. get off using plastic on critical parts I wil never figure out.
