Tuning Guide (from MG) on installing the Titanium Performance Chip

After a recent testing of gravitation, I decided to build my Copa back with the correct Titanium exhaust.  It also came with (another) performance chip in the kit and a set of EngTalian instructions.  Most of those instructions were gobbeldy gook but I thought the tuning piece might be something I should share.

So... here you go!

Those are about the simplest tuning instructions I've ever seen.

I wonder why/how the later V11 is tuned to a smaller throttle opening?

what do you think they mean tune right TB  throttle potentiometer till 465mv  ? is this the idle screw?

Yeah, that is the "approximate" TPS mv at "some" idle.

That procedure has been much improved and refined over these many years and many contributors . . .

Heh, well, that was a scientific event to test just how cold is the cliche “stone cold” we’ve all heard the motor must be in order to adjust the valves.:oldgit:

Turns out, letting it sit about 45 minutes is all it takes for the valve lash to return to “stone cold” specs.
