(Ever notice that photos of our Guzzis-in-Process always have hammers in the background?) Hammers? People own more than one? I normally use whatever is lying around-like a ratchet, screwdriver handle, piece of wood, or a stale doughnut... Nice job on the rebuild! I have not bought a new base, I have used the old one, and with a help from my friend, did what I wanted to do; single-seater in retro style. Old base cut out, ready for renovation: With the help of wire brush, mounted on angle grinder I remove the rust and old paint: For primer I used zinc spray: Mounting on the frame: Sponge sanded and prepared for upholstery: Last check before upholstering: And after two weeks of waiting, the seat is done. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like vinyl and I collect it...only, I have two small children so I have to move all my LP's from living room..some to my workshop and big parts are in boxes in the attic...over the years I have accumulated a few thousand pieces... True! I love the ambiance of the shop. It's funny...a lot of my friends says (now...sorry...it's a little problem to say all in good english, to make sense, but I will try...) that my place look vintage...and that I'm young in years but old in soul...
