I could swear there was a nice write up on using a GSXR front end as well as a thread on making the Marocchi's work better. Am I hallucinating? Check with Chamberlin. I think he might know a reasonable-cost way to get into a set of Öhlins that are cross-compatible with another bike. I don't recall the details.
