I just went to the Dylan Center in Tulsa.  I'd post photos but they're too large to post.  I did meet a fellow a couple of weeks ago on a Rosso Corsa Lemans that rode with me.  Found out he works for Bonham's auction as a motorcycle specialist and was involved with selling McQueen's Husky from OAS ($220k).  Also met Rudy and Michael D.

Looks like a good place to bookmark and visit next time I’m up that way.

Keep a couple of hours free.  And then expect to experience about half.   The closed archive stuff was supervised by historian Douglas Brinkley.   It's a serious endeavor.

Also going on now is a three day seminar regarding Bob but I didn't get the full subject.  I learned about it from a couple participants that were talking to us on the sidewalk after we left the exhibit.  I don't see anything about it on the website.

This is in a pretty neat part of Tulsa.  There's a great music venue (Tulsa Theater) close by, that's where I've seen Tedeschi Trucks, Bill Maher, Jeff Beck, Leon, etc.  Cool bars, restaurants and hotels, the Ball Park, the large arena (BOK Center) where I saw Roger Waters.  Tulsa is a major architecture center too, lots of Art Deco era buildings and midcentury.

Even more of a good reason to get there...thanks John!

Once had an AMG sharing a Eurotunnel carriage returning to the UK with Eric Clapton & his then bright new yellow 575M Maranello & passed the journey time chatting. He’d been enjoying tapping the performance by himself on the glorious roads of France for a few days…

His contented smile struck me when I asked how much horsepower it had, “Dunno” grinning he added, “A lot!”

This forum is not the place for political s^^t . I would appreciate it if you would remove it .

Waiting (a little longer) for this poster ( @ScuRoo) to take responsibility and make a decision.

Protest songs and political statements in songs are as old as the road to Rome. And everyone is free to agree or disagree. Hell, I don't agree with everything Bob Dylan wrote. But as you all know, a political discussion is not allowed on this forum!
My suggestion: Everybody is free to post music vids. All I ask of you is to think carefully what you post here. And for the people who disagree with the content of some of these videos: just don't react. It's not that hard.
Thanks!

Are you for real gstallons?

”Don’t be so pernickety.”______________

Anyhoo.. seems if everyone’s more or less on board with Jaap’s sentiment - myself included - I’m not taking umbrage so I’ll just easily move the needle onto the next track…

Ah Bob Dylan. Classic. Old political songs are more palatable than fresh protest presumably.

Always enjoyed contemplating what Bob had to croon - #1.

PerSnickety... Damn, I had to look it up!!

For a minute I thought, that’s the sound of your engine with loose valve lash...

Where else can you enrich your vocabulary with technical terms as such?!

Love it!
