Speedometer Cable Routing

Could one of you fine folks post a picture of your speedo cable routing at the transmission.I'm especially interested in how it passes under the throttle body.Thanks in advance.

Mike, Generally the bent tube housing angles forward and inboard at about 45˚ to the inside of the throttle body and clearing the linkage rod.

 

I have the earlier "angle drive" so I don't suppose a picture of mine would be helpful . . .

Docc,there is also a brace that I believe ties the two throttle bodies together.I think I may have tried an alternate routing several years ago and I can't remember whats correct.

My cable goes under the cross brace, but again, my Sport has the earlier angle drive rather than the "bent tube" of the later black face ITI.
