Most motorcycle gearboxes struggle with what you have described though. They need to be rotating for shifting to work effectively. I made mine just long enough to miss the frame , installed a l.h. thread rod end and new rod to where I could adjust the lever height . Buddy , this has a quicker throw than any bike on the road .
