Starter Mystery

To me it looks like a Bassa not EV. Or in later years (2001?) known as a special sport..

late to the party but what's all the discussion over what starter fits? Both the Tonti and V11 big twins use the same Valeo starter.

Yes the starter from MGcycle will fit any v11 or Tonti frame big twin.

well i finally got the starter problem fixed this bike was sitting for about 5 years.  with starter installed  the bendix  did not completely extend.  bought the starter you guys cam up with works perfect put some clean gas in it with a little coaxing if fired right up. now have to check all the fluids and get ready for a ride  . thanks  to all gatorman

I'd say job well done!

Guys often get the transformer rule mixed up with Ohms law. If you drop the Voltage through a transformer the current goes up as the Voltage goes down, it 's really not applicable to your bike.
