Dadparent
Hi Docc, as a result of your information about my clutch-question last week I came here. In my clutch-set there is a new pinion and now I want to ask you with which torque is the nut (SKF-KM5) fastened ?
docc
I’ll be back to my Workshop Manual in a few hours and will check. This is the special nut that holds the input hub to the gearbox and requires a special tool to tighten before securing with a tab from the Safety Washer? docc
Yes, the torque is high on this and requires both the special drive tool and the safety washer engaged.
docc
From the Workshop Manual: " Ring nut for gearbox main shaft, clutch side 100 Nm " The failed Safety Washer is what caused my clutch to malfunction.
