jchayes
G'day gents. One quick question: ignition switch "on," bike ready to start, should the generator light be "on" or "off?" (Early '02 LeMans, stock wiring - new factory wiring harnesses, light does work, oil pressure and neutral lights are "on") Thanks
Chuck
Truth be known.. you never know. Naturally, it *should* be on, but conjunctions of the moon's orbit with Venus sometimes cause it not to be. I think. Pay no attention..
docc
Key on: battery light on, oil pressure light on. All the warning lights should come on except the low fuel light. Most likely causes: bad bulb or loose bulb socket, but it seems there is a regulator issue that defeats the light. Put a voltmeter to the battery and confirm charging voltage exceeds the static battery voltage.
