rich46 Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Hello All, Still putting the finishing bits on the IOM V 11 and I have a question regarding the Silent Hektik coils. We're using the one coil one cylinder arrangement with the S/H coils and ignition. My question is: the two leads go to the coils that are configured in a "T" pattern which is pos. and which is neg.? Also sneaking in a second question: the S/H ignition requires resistor plugs. As I get ready to take the bike to the dyno shop (Mark at Factory Racing) what plugs and heat ranges have you all had the best luck with. I would like to take a good selection of plugs along with me so Mark has what he needs right there and doesn't need to go running around looking for a special plug. It seems they have one for Guzzi and BMW. Politics - Germany in the 1930s is the country the world studies to try to prevent extreme nationalism from taking hold. I can understand why some German businesses feel compelled to take sides today. Back to Rich... wish I could help. I don't have experience with anything but stock ignition parts. Gosh, last time I installed a non-stock ignition part was an electronic distributor to replace one with points. I think that was in the 1980s. Hot shit, that electronic ignition was...
