Motratech (or other) dropped pegs likes/dislikes

GM,

Looks like I got the bits mixed up. I have installled both kinds. The linkages are adjustable for proper lever placement. I do like the Techs over the bits. If you were a little closer, you could swing by and sit on the bike and see how they fit you. Back to changing my tire----

I wouldn't still have my V11 Rossa Corsa if I didn't have these mounted: http://motratech.com/Motratech/Welcome.html

I also have the setup from RPM cycles that moved the clip ons up and back.

Frank, if those pegs were any further forward they would qualify as footboards:)

I've had lowered footpegs on 3 V11s. Motobits on my 03 Lemans, Motrabits on my Coppa, and Motrabits on my 03 Rosso Corsa. I liked the Motrabits the best for comfort. I am also fitting a set of adjustable clipons to the Rosso.

The Motrabits are more expensive, but they are well made and have a good fit. If you do get them, pull the starter and the cylinder for the rear shock first thing.

I went with Knight Design for the new to me Griso.

Like Knight and day if you pardon the pun.

Look at a lowered toe peg for the rear brake as well, the gear perl can be adjusted down.

Where did you source your lowered toe peg?  I've got the knight design foot pegs now, and may just stick with those, but being able to address the brake lever is part of that whole solution.

Gmc28 asked ..................

The toe peg was by Knight Design also, if you Google their site you will see it.

It's a family run business out of Oregon

I bought one for each side but really the gearshift can be adjusted down.

Pinged knight design, and they said they don't offer those. They're just down the highway from me.

It's a pity Knight Design don't have another way of indexing their parts, I'm sure they make something that could be repurposed.

The OEM brake lever was nothing to write home about, I was lucky to get a Joe Kenny for mine.

Since you are just down the road, do they have a storefront?

He's a little more than just "down the road", it's more like 100 miles.
