[Wanted] Oval rubbery original Moto Guzzi accessory key ring

Recommended Posts

I am going to make a copy of my ignition key for the Le Mans 2004, and I would like to have the same key ring that I got with the bike.

I have been looking for an original one, unfortunately I have not managed to find one so far.

This is the one I am talking about

The link is from a specialized shop in Italy, however they don't have it in stock. I got some hits running universal queries, but all that I found have already sold.

If anyone knows where to find one, please let me know.

Thanks!

Mine decomposed and became disgusting to handle. I think they were made from boiled leeches and bubblegum spit...

How about this thing to beat the paint off your top fork yoke? Join the clan!

PORTACHIAVI "THE CLAN" ORIGINALE MOTO GUZZI (motoitalia.it)

It seems that it is the only decent one available. The 100 years one embossed into leather is really not enticing at all.

I found some other unofficial ones on local European sites, but nothing nice.

I don't know why Piaggio does not make another run of these ignition key rings. They also have a Piaggio store, commemorating the 75 years of the Vespa and the 100 years of Moto Guzzi, but for being Italians and admittedly kind of design, I don't see anything that I would want to purchase.
